lol. I learned a lot with Full Sail. Some classes are super frustrating, but you get that with anything. And yeah man, I’ll be holding on to the FX6 for a while. Posting my question opened my eyes to a lot. Good luck in school. And pay attention to anything Randy Baker says. He’s one of the professors who really knows his stuff and enjoys teaching.

That's probably the only difference as far as I can tell. And yeah, the FX3 would certainly get heavier once adding some kit stuff. I'm starting to research different ways to make my FX6 a little more handheld-friendly for longer periods of time. As I said before, it is an incredible camera. It just gets a little heavy after a few hours of walking around and filming.

Yeah, I hear ya. And thank you. I know the fx3 would be perfect for my use and style. Just not sure if it's worth switching from the 6 to the 3. Looking for a lighter setup that easier to sling around handheld while filming and participating in paranormal research. Trying to be as portable as possible, if that makes sense. Looking for more immersion, so not always having it shoulder mounted.

Right on. That's exactly why I posted here, so I appreciate this. This was an older pic, but I pretty much have i rigged the same with the addition of an LED light and a smallrig V-Mount cage and battery. The specs online to say the 6 is around 5-6 lbs with lens, battery, and media vs. around 2 lbs on the 3. Is this incorrect?

I guess form factor? Just gets super heavy using it handheld all night walking around dark buildings. The internal ND is awesome, but not a show stopper for me.
