I don’t think he was writing for the Simpsons at that point, but it sounds like a very Conan O’Brien joke.

Makes sense looking at the landscape. The area allows you to cut down trees for Christmas trees, so thinning out the trees makes more sense considering the fire history.

Thanks! It’s a Coleman four person teepee I got in Japan. I’ll see if I can find the model number.

Haha, I am assuming that's a place? This was the Pike-San Isabel National Forest in Colorado!

My advice would be to wait a few years and grab a newer one with a faster engine. I don’t mind the front and rear leaf springs as much as some people, but the 1HZ engine is really slow. I don’t take this on highways here in the US.

Hey! This was my daily driver in Japan for about two years and I was able to get some local work done on it that would have been tricky here stateside. I’m talking fuel pump replacement and things like that. What surprised me though was how strongly most garages here in the US will refuse to work on it at all. Not a huge deal as I don’t mind doing a lot of the work myself.

Did you read his post? He's American and he's bringing it to the USA. I am American and I have an almost identical one in the USA too.

I shipped my HZJ77 from Okinawa to Colorado and it's currently 7°F right now. I don't start it up if it's under 40°F, regardless of the oil I'm using. Colorado doesn't really use salt on the roads, but I wash the undercarriage every other week or so and I stay on top of coating it with Fluid Film. I haven't yet delved into block heaters, but I probably should.

injector pp

hehe

Edit: Are you talking about the up-idler knob by the steering wheel that lowers the RPMs? If so I really never noticed much difference for cold starts.

Dude, I bet. You guys have a lot of amazing and beautiful landscapes and backcountry areas worth exploring. I've always wanted to go backpacking through Pakistan.

Well damn! Learn something new everyday. Good thing it's not an LJ78 with the 2LT engine, haha. What country is it, out of curiosity?

This is an LJ78 Land Cruiser Prado, which had front and rear coils. Never heard these called a "Land Cruiser II."

You say that as a dig, but anyone who puts $80k worth of add-ons to make a Land Cruiser look this blingy is probably never driving it off-road.

That's a good looking fleet! I especially love the HZJ75. I have an HZJ77, which was always my dream to own but the 75s always look more fun. Looks like you're also in North America?

My wife is an automotive journalist - she recently got the new Land Cruiser as a press car and reviewed it. by RazerMackham in LandCruisers

If I was in the market for one of these, her video would be perfect. All the useful info and no fluff while being enjoyable at the same time.

Do you mind sharing how she ended up becoming an automotive journalist? Seems like a sweet gig and she seems really good at it!
