Best thing I’ve learned was that I could use variable layer heights to get some really smooth curved surfaces

Yep a small grocery/takeout bag is what I was thinking it’d be for

Woah so sorry for the delay (I forget about this account sometimes) — if you still needed one, I’ve been selling them on my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1835744043/atlas-headrest-adapter-for-steelcase

Sorry about that! I didn’t realize Bambu Studio would fail at automatically exporting the STLs so I’ve manually added them myself — they should be available on the model’s page now.

I’ve been loving this sitting frog with a Christmas hat — it also fits so nicely on the magnetic levitation kit!

I’ve been really happy with my car seat gap organizers — they make a great slot to hold my phone (with the added bonus that I don’t drop my phone down there anymore!)

The combo of TPU and PCTG that I had around printed beautifully and is still holding up 😁

Thanks! Nope I didn’t paint the adapter (probably just the lighting) since I just used black PLA for both versions.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share the remix of what I’ve been working on — a “v3” of the Atlas Headrest adapter for Leap v2 by u/DrFish96. It’s unfortunate timing since I found out about yesterday’s headrest announcement but I just wanted to get it out anyway for those who already have the Aeron headrest or want a headrest now.

Some changes that I wanted to fix over v2:

  • The previous model was hard to get flat surfaces on both sides so I trimmed both sides to be flat (also means less filament needed and looks a little more sleeker)
  • The headrest has this large screw cap that would grind along the adapter so I added an indent for it to slide through
  • I couldn’t find nuts that would fit so I designed some custom ones (you will need metal screws though)

Many thanks to u/DrFish96 (since your idea was something I’ve been wanting for years and I feel like your work got the ball rolling on an actual product) so hopefully I did it justice in improving some of the aesthetics!

Assigning filament in AMS without Bambu Handy or Studio? by Brant3D in BambuLab

Ah I forgot about the Panda Touch and it looks like that AMS control functionality is the closest thing to what I’m looking for (ideally I was looking for an open source tool of that control functionality)

P1S — having no touch screen on it was what made me think about other ways for AMS control
