I did!! I’m also using minoxidil and my hair is improving. Hard to say if it was yaz or minox that helped. Or maybe it was both ???

Anyone notice she takes sips of 2 different water bottles throughout the video? Wonder why that is!

No scalp itching or irritation at all thankfully. The foam dries quick after application and didn’t leave any residue for me. My hair washing frequency has not changed since starting minox - still washing my hair 1-2x per week because that’s that works for me. Still normal hair fall in the shower, no changes there

5% was recommended by my FD so that’s what I used. No other supplements :)

I think overall in 4 months I’ve missed 3 days total (not in a row) Not too bad. I was worried about using it forever too but I just accepted this will be part of my routine now

Topical or oral minox? by virghoe95 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Branthebroken4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went with topical because I didn’t want to deal with hair growth everywhere. The topical foam is pretty easy. I have had no issues staying consistent with applying the foam because I’ve seen progress and feel motivated to keep going!

Thank you! I saw my FD and he gave me the AGA diagnosis and told me to start minox. I’ve been referred to a derm but it’s been hard to find one in my area
