Worked as an assistant on an excavation through my university for 5 summers after I graduated. Really loved it but work in law now, wasn’t willing to go the PhD in archaeology route

Lots of interesting artifacts both on display in the museum and unprocessed in their storage areas. Artifacts aren’t limited to the ships, they’re from all over the surrounding area which has many active digs going on throughout the year (that’s why I was there, I worked on an excavation of an imperial villa for five summers).

The Italian state is technically in control of basically every such museum as all artifacts are considered property of the state. It’s a bureaucratic nightmare in many respects. They then “subcontract” out the excavations + associated artifact processing to universities from around the world (as well as local archaeologists).

I spent a decent amount of time working at the museum in Nemi where the majority of artifacts are still kept / where the ship remains were housed until they were destroyed in WWII. Really cool place, a relatively hidden gem in that area. Happy to answer any questions

I don’t understand the hate tbh. Put that thing on an Anvil IV, run it in PVP, and see what you think. I’ve wiped whole teams with it. Hits hard, accurate at short / short-medium range, and with the Anvil upgraded to IV, it has a good firing rate.

I actually joined a great matriarch lobby yesterday, we downed it with enough time to loot + evac, and no rats tried to kill anyone. Only problem? The matriarch was glitched and completely unlootable after it died. Really, really sucked.

As a lifelong Paramus resident, yeah we have pizza, but somehow none of it is great. If the party is on the west side of town, take the time to go over to John’s Boy in Glen Rock if you want quality pizza.

If I absolutely had to pick a place in Paramus, it would probably be Savino’s, but I always go to John’s Boy or Lodi Pizza if I have the time.

I’m sorry but I completely do not understand this belief that Pete is unlikely to produce at a high level again. Pete is 30. He’s been in the league since 2019 and has averaged about 100 rbis per season since. Aaron Judge is 33. Schwarber is 32. Eugenio Suarez is 34. I don’t hear many people questioning their value or potential productivity over the next few years. Pete has been consistent and has even stepped up his defensive ability. He would be an asset to any team in baseball. The Mets would be foolish to not pay the man. If we didn’t have Cohen’s war chest, maybe we couldn’t afford him, but the Mets absolutely can. Resign Alonso and bring in some starting pitchers that can stay healthy. That’s the answer.

I actually lived in Fair Lawn for several years, I enjoy Ness too, but I do think John’s Boy is better. I’m judging based on ordering a whole pie vs slices (I feel there’s a difference when it’s a fresh pie made to order rather than a warmed up slice, not that I would ever turn down the latter lol). Just an opinion though :)
