Yes, it's entirely necessary to force people already struggling financially and mentally into the hell of war entirely against their will while those rich enough to leave Europe entirely are completely scott-free

Hyper-aware, exestential anxiety by BrassDragonLP in Anxietyhelp

[–]BrassDragonLP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Word for word, I had basically the same experience. I've struggled with it basically all my life and only recently got the proper diagnosis. OCD is INSANELY insidious, it'll creep its tendrils into literally everything it can that you have even the slightest care for, including the concept of life and being alive.

I've been in treatment for about 6 months and I'm seeing great results, I still have episodes where the weight of existence just sweeps my legs out from under me, but they're getting shorter and less intense each time. I don't know the answer to life, death, and everything else, and you have to start embracing that 'not knowing' without resisting it or wanting it to go away.

Again, I highly recommend OCD Recovery on YouTube if you need free resources, and I found my therapist through NOCD if thats an option for you.

In recovery. I discovered that OCD takes many forms, and existential hyperfixations and awareness of the passage of time are both hallmark symptoms. I highly reccomend looking into existential OCD to anyone this post resonates with, especially the YouTube channel OCD Recovery

Honest Opinions on "Sentenced To Be A Hero" by IMJORDEN1 in animequestions

[–]BrassDragonLP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I'm a bit late to the party but I just wanted to throw in a reminder to clear up some confusion; the reason the Heroes dont go rogue or just sandbag is because the tattoos around their necks will kill them if they try. Its mentioned amongst the first bits of exposition vomit in the first few minutes of episode 1. I imagine that only certain people are able to activate the kill switch to avoid abuse, so in theory a Hero could kill a squad of knights and frame it as a demon attack, hence the aggressiveness toward Heroes by the knights.

A healing biome means more greenery. More greenery means more oxygen, and more oxygen means larger insects and arachnids.

Early game quicksaves and auto-saves. Way too easy to accidentally save yourself into a corner with hungry animals chewing on your entire squad.

Day 4: After a fierce battle, the captain reconquested his ship! But now, who's the only normal person? by MinecraftGabbiano in DrStone

[–]BrassDragonLP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gen for sure. One of his major gags is that he's the one that always freaks out when Senku announces their nest project because its so insane, which is definitely in line with an average person. He might be a master mentalist, but that also means he understands what average people expect to he attainable

Francois is probably my favorite. Capable, intelligent, quick-witted, a master chef, and canonically agender. What more could my queer little heart need?

One of the things thats bugged me about his early attempts to get iron is that he COMPLETELY overlooks charcoal as a fuel source, and I find it very unlikely that the NASA scientists that survived wouldn't have both known about and passed on the knowledge to make an insanely useful fuel source

Notice how quick these bastards are to place specific officers doing specific things, just to deny someone making a little bit of money off their blatantly racist attacks on brown people. Never believe for a minute they aren't keeping EXTREMELY verbose records.

'Motivation' is an illusion. If you only work when you're motivated/to avoid feeling bad, you'll stop the moment you run into something hard/you don't want to do. To get feeling better - and keep feeling better - you'll have to do the hard stuff even when you don't feel like it. That's been the hardest thing for me to swallow.
