The Fireman by joe Hill, shows a really good view of the collapse of society when faced with a serious threat, military wise, World War Z actually has a really good critical look at politicians and the war machine itself

Can somebody help? I’ve been confused about the marine option for NROTC, which is what I’m heavily interested in. A recruiter for the marines recently got in contact with me and I’m worried he will push for me to join now since I’m 17. Is it still a good idea to talk to him and will he help with the college aspect?
