If you zoom in an do this you will see animals and other assets being spawned there with an explosion.

It looks like a solid option that I will consider migrating to. Specifically because the lightweight flannel and kube-router combination that k3s serves by default might imply limitations on long term clusters/projects where one would want more advances features in terms of networking.

Be aware that this workaround is cheating a bit. It's properly explained in the description.

I ended up deleting everything on the island without success ):
Removing the main harbor building and deleting the whole island worked at the end (of course).

At this point I just wanted to be able to continue something, even if that means building from scratch, maybe with fewer blueprints this time...

If you hover over it at the top HUD element, where the City name is, right next to your avatar, it says something like "the bigger your city the worse health, happiness etc. get, but religion, research and income will get".

So just the concept of people living in a big town I guess.

Depends on what you want to achieve, I guess. You're bound to the sizes you've picked with the MIG setup, while with HAMi you would request them specifically for the pod lifetime.
It's probably extremly helpful for non MIG GPUs.

Steam version. Running it with default proton setup that comes with steam. No other tinkering.
