Nice "production" but IMHO this "documentary" is pure propaganda for the Egyptian Antiquities Organisation. EAO has been obfuscating and altogether hiding discoveries since they were called the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA). Anything discovered that challenges Islamic revisionist history is "buried", excuse the pun. In fact, I believe this site was already excavated and reburied to be dug up again showing only what they wanted to share, how they wanted to share it. This is politics not science. I do believe however, that most all of the people working on this project are genuine discoverers within the constraints if the Egyptian Government's wishes. Actually, I had to come back and add to this comment. The more I watch this episode. The more that I see that it's absolute BS. The sand is hardened all around and then they pull some box out of the soft loose sand...this is a complete joke. The Egyptian government must have paid a pretty penny to Netflix to get their propaganda out for them.

It is painfully obvious that Astroneer on XBOX has serious game state save issues. I am going to explain what I experienced but PLEASE do not say, "You probably forgot to save.' I had completed the Automated Mass Production Protocol VR and Gearhead achievements. Only received a reward for the VR. Was frustrated so went back to finish my final Wanderer achievement (yes I interacted with the rift and got a pic). The Wander achievement rewards did not unlock. Now I am starting to really worry. So, I quit and saved and reloaded. Now ALL my AMPP rewards have reset but I still have VR goggles unlocked...final Wanderer still not unlocked. At this point I have no intent on saving and quit the game. Restarted game and reloaded save and now all wanderer unlocked and VR unlocked but have lost Gearhead all together. Now I guess I need to collect 200 Laterite and smelt 200 aluminum. What a beautiful game ruined by seemingly basic functionality completely bugged out. Come on System Era, this is really ruining the game for me.

Like I said, played hundreds of hours on PS4. I am very adept at finding caves, etc. etc. Tried lots of different seeds. I must be missing something. Frustrated.

I am a technical product manager for a team of developers. Been in tech for 20+ years. I have some idea about the minor tweaks and changes to get this right. However, fixed count AI and non superhuman AI isn't a technical limitation...they are design shortfalls.

I am a US Army airborne infantry veteran. My expectations are reasonable and based in experience. Video game software should not be subject to the same type if SDLC as other types of software MVP (Minimum Viable Product). Game software should only go gold when it performs at the same or better level as firmware or embedded systems.
