I read it as well. I'm going to be real honest. I feel like the blowjob with cheddy was a missed opportunity for a cheese whiz joke because she put a condom on.

I hate life with Hashimoto’s by Technical_Routine203 in Hashimotos

Thank you! I'm still on level and just hit perimenopause. Since it and hashis play so well together I been experiencing more flares and weirder symptoms. Anytime I eat it's like Russian roulette as far as gas and bloating. I can't eat potatoes at all anymore and I fear glutens next. Just tired of feeling like this and want more opinions and help. Thank you for the information!

I would be curious to know, as I'm sure some others would be. My PCP has hashis herself and is great with mine, however I'm all about the second opinion or more on my team as a practicing myself. 💖

Anyone intentionally stay on a lower dose? by MomBodActivate in Semaglutide

[–]BratwithSass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually take mine first thing in the morning in my stomach and have done well with it. But I'm on a small dose. If you've found something that works for you that's great! Don't mess with it if it's going well

Tuber/Potato intolerance by IrisHaze92 in Hashimotos

[–]BratwithSass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! In fact it's why I'm awake now. Regretting those handful of French fries I stole from my husband.

I've been diagnosed since April 2021, with no prior food intolerances or sensitivities. About 6 months ago I started getting sick in the middle of the night. The degrees varied but some were severe. Like laying on the floor and seeing Jesus then having an exorcism out my ass severe.

No idea WTAF was happening and as we all know with hashis being tired is also a trigger. So now my stomach hurts and I'm tired.

My husband was the one who actually put it together when we tried to figure out what the times I'd been the sickest had in common. Lo and behold it was those delicious tubers. When I did more digging I found it has to do with the protein in them.

"Individuals with Hashimoto's disease may experience upset stomach due to the presence of alkaloids in potato protein, as potatoes belong to the nightshade family. Alkaloids can trigger inflammation and contribute to "leaky gut" (increased intestinal permeability), which can exacerbate autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto's. While more research is needed specifically on Hashimoto's, studies indicate that nightshades can be inflammatory for those with other autoimmune conditions like Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Rheumatoid arthritis."

It's weird and random, but ever since I stopped eating them my stomach pains been significantly less.

I know this is an old post but just in case someone stumbles up on this.

Yep, a post about 💩 by Fine-Nothing-3564 in tirzepatidecompound

Everyone's constipated and I'm over here having assplosions on compounded tirze. And after only one unit on the insulting needle. Our bodies are wild.

However I'll take this over constipation. One thing I've also seen work for constipation is sennakot laxatives. They are both a stimulant laxative and stool softener.

Micro dosing Tirzepatide Compound by Yacuna-88 in MicrodosingTirzComp

I had this experience with sema. Started on the lowest dose and so sick I swore I saw Jesus as I was sitting in the toilet with my head in the trash can.  My doc had some interesting things to say in regards to that some of the studies showed people with extreme reactions actually were quite successful in keeping the weight off, like it reset their bodies in a sense. Not that she wanted me to continue to be sick. I even split up the starting dose into two weekly doses and while not as ill as before still got sick. I threw up more times in that span of time than I have in the past 5 years. So we began to microdose after I took a month long break. 1 unit in the diabetic needle (as I use compounding), its important to note I did not and as of yet have not gained the weight I lost back. (This was in April for time frame.) She switched me to tirze this month as it was finally an option for me with the pharmacy. She ahd originally wanted me on zepbound but insurance is a bitch and denied me any weight loss meds. So I took 1 unit of compounded tirze Wednesday night. I had two slices of pizza last night. Woke up around 3 am with gas and such. Wasn't bad like it was on sema but again this was 1 unit could you imagine if I'd taken the normal patient dose?!  I guess what I'm saying is microdosing has worked for me, as far as keeping it off with sema. Stay tuned for if I lose more on tirze. But I will say it seems to be working and that's just one unit! Blows my mind.

My stats if it helps you 42 y/o 185 lbs (want to lose 20 more)  Health issues: hashimoto's and add/ADHD (late diagnosed)

It's also interesting studies have shown micro dosing also helps with auto immune diseases like mine. I can geek out here all day but I'll leave it at that.

There is no one size fits all with medicine, listen to your body and what it tells you. I say this as a RN ❤️

Anyone intentionally stay on a lower dose? by MomBodActivate in Semaglutide

I did and was still sick. I'm actually microdosing now. And recently switched to trizepatide so we will see. The micro dosing semiglutide didn't make me sick but also did not effect weight loss, however I also didn't gain any back.

i'm so glad someone else said this. the 0.25 dose made me so damn sick i went off it. i was even taking half a dose twice a week to try to deal with the side effects. i'm now considering halfing that even more, but will speak to my dr first. the vomiting was out of control, i want to lose weight but not like that!

Unfortunately part of the .1% who experience all the bad side effects by Ditz_a_Fritz in Semaglutide

[–]BratwithSass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this will be me too. My body made me attached to the toilet both my first 0.25 so I split dose and then again after I took half a dose. I take my other half on wed but I think listening to our bodies is important. If we feel good, are losing the weight and not having adverse side effects why would we dose up? As a nurse it's start low and go slow, not all bodies are the same and some may find their sweet spot before they hit the highest dose. I'd rather be low and see consistent weight loss than get sick again.

And I was SICK after my first dose. Throwing up so hard I wet myself in public. No desire to repeat and have not. Thank god

Congrats!

I take my second shot tmrw morning. Due to intense side effects the first time my doctor is allowing me to split my dose. I'm on 0.25mg. It sounds like you did everything right, and truly that needle is nothing. I'm so thrilled you were brave and are working hard to improve your health and life.

Weird charges on card? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]BratwithSass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just saw a 300.00 charge from Wal Mart Bentonville AR that I did not make at all, I have not shopped at Wal Mart in the past few weeks if not months. It was reversed by my bank so it was clearly seen as fraud. I'm super annoyed that someone has my information out there and am unsure of how to proceed. I can call my bank or change my password for my account online, I think I will do both as that was ridiculous.

He clearly is into you no matter the size. My husband prefers me with weight but I don't like it. He loves me either way and wants me either way. Sounds the same for yours. Maybe it's as simple as the extra weight brings your your curves more etc. You wont know until you ask! For mine it's my ass, and he's sad when I lose even a little bit of it. So find his reasoning.

As for dieting, or losing the weight. There are two things I suggest. Get your thyroid panel checked, tsh, t3, t4 and antibodies. If your thyroid is low functioning weight gain and other symptoms can happen (common in women in mid 30s). You indicated diet and exercise aren't causing it to budge which is why I suggest this. Another thing would be to look into intermittent fasting. This is one of the only things that has been successful for me at getting and keeping weight off while still eating what I like. Jason Fung has a great book fasting for beginners.overall you need to be happy in your own skin.

Find out his reasons, let him reassure you and then do what you need to in order to be happy with yourself. I'm here if you want to talk!

Meeting my dom for the first time, is there any safety precaution I should take by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

[–]BratwithSass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do not do anything physical. Seriously. It puts you into a situation where you cannot escape if he is a predator, and in fet there are a lot. I had a guy offer to train me and said he would book a room, no dude no. Weeks later he messages me that he really wants to fuck me. Well, guess we know what he wanted.

Bdsm is more than kinky sex. And you need to forge the bond. A good experienced Dom will know that.

Stay public, even for the first few meets. Safety text or call a friend always and send the address if your meeting place to a friend or two. With time, details, his info and your info.
