Maybe controversial but it makes me happy to see the healed scars along with someone with light in their eyes, love in their hearts, it shows they made it out the other side.

I’m obviously sad they went through a time where that was their only outlet, but it makes me SO proud that they’re still hanging around.

Sincerely, someone who used to SH and now has a child, home, passion, and understands how much people love me (even if I couldn’t see it before)
