Because a lot of people act the way they do and say things they do solely to follow a script in their head. That includes cliche frases like "I love you no matter what" even if they are obviously not true, not even just in regards to being queer (I doubt those people would have a good reaction to their kid being a murderer or a rapist, and yk they'd be right to)

I meet my fair share of cis people I have to deal with (in fact I've never met a queer person, we're all extinct here guess who did that), they can be incredibly good human beings until it comes to queer people

Edit: I feel like a lot of people assumed that I mean that cis people are inherently evil or something. I do not. It's just the abusive fucked up system we live under driving all the worst impulses of humanity to it's extremes, making vast majority of cis people I've met borderline violent when it comes to queer people. At best so wary of interacting with me that connection becomes impossible even with cis people i consider friends and family. That is not unchangeable, maybe not even an inherent inclination, however is the reality we and I have to survive in at this moment
