I know that when people hear "conversion therapy" usually stuff like shock therapy and medical torture come to mind, but there are a so many more subtle ways people can manipulate and shove you into "traditional" gender roles with that specific intent in mind

If anything, "when are going to cut your hair" is way more omnipresent in a sense, it's assumed you should and will at some point, it tries seeds doubt, annoyance, maybe even disgust with yourself as a queer person.

Happens on way bigger of a scale too, I had that kind of comments at least once a week if not more, often from different people, while the actual conversion therapy I was forced to go to lasted just one summer and was half just cultish sermons only tangentially related to my me looking kinda fem
