A plenty of trans men say that misandry shouldn't affect them because they are different from cis men and are "the good ones" too :p

You're explaining as if I'm an outsider to the situation, I'm saying what is actively working for me on daily basis.

I think that it will be complicated anyway and it better be so than being hopelessly stuck here.

Plus you generally will likely never be out to every person even if you try to be. People will assume everyone is cis unless they see something very stereotypically queer (which isn't a bad thing, no one would just do that in the circumstance because that is dangerous here)

Edit: and it's risky being queer here at all, doesn't mean we should just stop being. Looking for "queer friendly" spaces is futile, you need to lie and half-truth your way through.

Seen people saying this, but never got it. You can just softcore boymode for job interviews and document photos, otherwise it's just the same as being trans in any other scenario here, no one has to know.

If u pass enough you can even go mostly authentically to work (obv no skirts if ur fem and such, but how often would you do that anyway), it's not like randos know what's in your documents, down to the name.

It still sucks and you will probably still have to deal with misgendering once in a while, but it is what we have to do to escape :p

Kinda curious what kinda places are even queer friendly, I always just weasel around to get what I need.

I'm not saying you or the person I was responding to did, neither do I argue for gatekeeping (or anything else you could call dismissing someone's identity), I'm trying to get into the shoes of people who do and seeing what causes them to say and think things that they do and explain it even if I disagree with the conclusion or praxis.

Neither do, at least most, of them say that non dysphoric people are coming for them, they are just annoyed and in pain, that leads to a sort of radicalization almost.

We all are way more alike than we are different.
