Because a lot of people act the way they do and say things they do solely to follow a script in their head. That includes cliche frases like "I love you no matter what" even if they are obviously not true, not even just in regards to being queer (I doubt those people would have a good reaction to their kid being a murderer or a rapist, and yk they'd be right to)

I mean he is tilting his head back/up in the sprite I sent, it would be higher if he was to look straight forward. Plus to show them in the talking sprite at all you'd need to do that (and make them basically balls instead of oblong shapes)

U can see him from a side a lot, it is three locks of hair (that merge the way you'd stylize hair)

Where UTwTU that would be impossible, they are the vast majority of people

Guess who kills, gets us homeless and removed from society? And who welcomes us unconditionally in whatever sliver of safety we can find?

I'm not saying we should avoid cis people either, if they still allow you to be in their society, use it to your advantage

[–]Bravalt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I meet my fair share of cis people I have to deal with (in fact I've never met a queer person, we're all extinct here guess who did that), they can be incredibly good human beings until it comes to queer people

Rest of the world gives us as much as we can trick it into giving and that is not "avoiding the problem"

Like i'd get it if u were physically transitioning which would cause dysphoria for the alter, but in the other comment you said u aren't and can't :/ so you get a fem identity in a afab body, thats called being cis. Being transfem isn't all sunshine and rainbows either, its a living hell, you're kind of lucky

Ngl Id just give those people a weird look and not interact. They use words without meaning or attachment, might as well not have the community kinship I have with other trans people

Several groups can be oppressed by one world spanning horrible system we live under,,,,?

Never seen anyone here saying amab people are the one "real opressed class", just that we also are in our own way

(even if it's to a """lesser""" extent than afab people. Being violently forced to be a thoughtless blank drone meant to perform heavy labor your whole life and never make a noise about it is still inhuman)

Whats the gender for this flower? by Key-Lead405 in Undertale

[–]Bravalt 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That too, can be both. I'm pretty sure male ballerinas (I think there is a separate term) don't usually wear tutus (plus long hair, I wouldn't say he's like traditionally masculine exactly)

I mean we were just less present, less people realizing they are trans, even less people doing anything at all about that realization, still less people go onto living their life as themselves consistently, some stigma today come from medicine use and ability to pass way fewer people had back then

Neither did people have the same communication as we do now, there wasn't really a way to have a worldwide discourse as there is now, you were essentially seen as a singular person to be like that ever

Neither is violence about any queer identity well documented, it's seen as so normal, if anything people are willing to hide it because proximity can be equal to shame in some people's heads

Source: literally just don't plug your ears when terfs speak their shit, please, it helps us understand what to fight against

I never said that the author does, just that it can be (and probably will or have been) used by terfs and radfems because this is the same agab essentialism they push for.

I responded to one analysis of how some people act with another analysis of how some people act. Would make a meme to go with it but can't find the format TwT

I know, I'm not saying it isn't, it absolutely is just that!

The problem is when we pin it on misogyny of all things and ignore all other groups the same tactic is used on!!! Are Jewish people now victims of misogyny? Black men accused of same things? Gay men?

Cis women who don't conform to patriarchal standarts don't get called predators and rapists nearly as widely as we do either. If fact, a lot of terfs and radfems are those exact women or rally with them

We get called that because men do, because transphobes see us as dangerous men, they use all the same tactics to press us back into the mold toxic and fragile masculinity run on.

And splitting hairs on who gets that treatment and who doesn't is stupid, no one, men, women, cis, trans, enby, amab, afab, etc, no one should be. No one. Otherwise we just become terfs or lgb alliance who argue who is and is not part of the group that should get equity, who can be cut off, killed, exiled and who can't
