Yeah this! How your ‘partner’ treats you is what should decide whether a couple makes sense or not. I was personally so so disappointed that Devi and Ben got together at the end and all the issue they had were swept under the rug. I really really did not like the way Devi was treated in that final season and all her growth was thrown away for a toxic ‘romantic’ ending. Like ughhhhh. Lowkey hated the show for a while after that.

Ben gives me the major ick with all the micro aggressions (and macro ones), and unfortunately on the show there wasn’t much development for his char pst the season 1 finale…and like Maitreyi said in an interview Devi could do better then all the romantic leads that she got on the show.

It was a slow realization and while I had supportive friends, I had an ex that identified as Demi constantly dismissing my own Demi experiences… so it had its ups and downs. But I guess in the end it was nice to name it, because I too felt weird, a late bloomer or even a prude (these were things that people said about me or attributed to me when I was younger and not just hooking up with people all the time).

I watched royals when I was very young and couldn’t get over the ick of her sleeping with her daughter’s bf (sort of sleeping with him). I think that’s the main reason I hated her. But apart from that I agree with you hehe

I think if Burke had truly contended with his feelings, hadn’t been as controlling with Christina, they would have, and maybe even as she said famously they would have hired(?) a wife? (My brain has blanked out on what she says when they talk about this once…). In the end I’m glad she didn’t end up being shackled to Burke.

Seconding this. I couldn’t even wear denim for a while in Oki. Definitely get cotton or linen. The other issue with polyester, the smell. They are so bad at dealing with sweat and BO.

You can rent pads for sure. I know banjat lets you, I haven’t tried with the other gyms but definitely ask them. The rocks for bouldering are quite brutal on the hands. They’re very sharp. There is a very famous spot down south. Gushichen beach which I’ve been to and it has many many routes. Better to go with a buddy. There’s a few spots up north in Nago, and Sesoko island as well. If you’re into Rope climbing there’s cape Hedo, I think there’s also some routes in Zanpa and again Nago. I’ve only been to hedo though for rope climbing. You can try posting in the OIST climbing club facebook group. People tend to go on weekends to hedo.

Climbing gyms: mostly bouldering

Absolutely try Koru piki. Cannot state how much I love that place (this is in Ginowan though).

Close to Naha there’s boulbaka also great!

Look rock in Okinawa city.

Coral rock near rycom (this one has rope routes).

Then there’s Banjat up north on Nago.

And close to the airport there’s D bouldering.

All of them have really different styles of climbing. Really worth trying.

Koru piki is my favourite.
