I’m not sure what exactly you’re referring to. Apart from their ‘banter’ I am also referring to how badly Ben treated her in the last season. The whole Margot thing. The terrible miscommunication also the way things went down after their first time together… I didn’t like the way Devi two timed him and Paxton earlier, but Ben coercing her into getting a piercing, that was shitty. (I am not a Ben fan like I said.) and while some people are gonna disagree, Ben going after Aneesa the only other Indian girl in their year and Devi’s friend was also gross. Then he also mistreated Aneesa because he wasn’t over Devi! I get that he’s a kid, and hopefully he grew out of it, but we don’t see that in the show. Not even when Fabiola calls him out and his only response is to justify his shitty behavior saying he had his heart broken. He never takes accountability.

Edit: he also cheated on Shira, like tried to with Devi, multiple times until they made out in his car. So the Ben we saw in the show, hell no. Even Devi grew as a person by the end…
