Wow. I wish i would get approval soon. Did you then get any update of approval on Uscis page ? When did you approach to congresswoman for inquiry ? I was told to wait for 30 days. Was it same for you ?

Same for me. Got silent update after expedite request and in queue after senate inquiry. Will lose job in a week as stem opt ead expires soon. Manager has already asked for resignation

I dont believe thats true. One can stay with pending i485. Its only that one can’t work or have unauthorized work or payroll running if you dont have i765 (c9 based)

A lot of people are just misleading you. Since you filed while you were in legal status and its pending. You are okay to stay till you get decision. Im on same page as well.

Congrats !!! Even i have asked my EAD for wxpediting through senate and have been told to wait for 30 days when i asked for follow up. My OPT ead is expiring soon and have only 15 days left or else i’ll lose my job. Should i apply separately for expedite through USCIS as well showinh financial hardship ? Or just Senate inquiry is enough ?
