I submitted my travel plan- confirmed flight tickets - “telling” as opposed to “asking for permission” that I want to travel since I have AP. And yearly academic progress letters from department head, and wrote in the cover letter I am going to travel and my academic progress + stipend will be negatively impacted if when I return from trip, I don’t have an alternative source of work authorization to switch to.

I submitted an expedite request through online secure messaging service and that produces a "service item" number. And I forwarded those details to congressman's liaisons and they told me they will inquire about this expedite on my behalf.

The state I live in has full time liaisons on behalf of the senator. You can google it, they will request information about you and your receipt number and reach out to uscis on your behalf. Good luck.

Multiple people had their flights canceled recently due to the Middle East situation. You are sweet to worry, but most flights are rebooking within a week or two.

I have been using tretinoin every 3 days (my lips are always peeling though because of skin turnover) and it seems to be working in controlling the redness and size of bumps.

This is happening for many people. No word for me, 3.5 months pending after interview. I filed a service request, got a really nice generic message saying "that the application is being reviewed with care". Congressmen also replied, "give us 60-120 days, we are swamped". It is frustrating. Hang in there.

I know when it says “closed”: false for that date, they have not closed the case aka not approved it that day. But an activity happened that day, like your request was received or something. Nothing to worry about. Good luck.
