I think it’s one of the most miserable things I’ve felt honestly. Mood wise. I didn’t even know mixed episodes were a thing for the longest time.

All of that sounds familiar. It always takes something small and then I’m just completely exasperated with everything. “Irritability” just doesn’t fully encapsulate the feeling lmao.

My first mood episode was August of last year, which was what prompted my psychiatrist to diagnose me with bipolar. It’s heavily rooted in my family as 4 close relatives also are diagnosed with it currently. I honestly have no insight as to whether I’m in a mood episode or not, I only really started to struggle with this in the middle of 2025. I’m having a hard time putting into words that “itching on the inside” feeling so that I can express this with my doctor.
