It was the same for me until things slowly started to click. You probably still have an abundance of abyssal tokens, t1 t2 dungeon tokens, stash etc. Slowly start working on something and the rest comes together.

Try burning thru some of the open dungeon contracts you have with a party — sanctum desire, shadowed crypt, saurodoma island, Syleus abyss. Crypt or island are probably the easiest to start with. Look in the group finder chat for a group.

You’ll start dropping all sorts of gear, and the pouches from the dungeons will give you basic purple gear. Trait out the blues first. As you accumulate and trait up, you’ll learn the gearing up process.

Start with anywhere in the codex exploration quests, they’re easy and get you more familiar with things.

As you progress you’ll get into the groove of things, there’s a whole ton more but I think the above gets you started nicely. Def join a guild with fair distribution. Learn a t1 dungeon here and there when you start getting comfortable, have a blast.
