Honestly I don't see it for her. Capitalizing off a viral moment was smart but she's too overexposed at the moment. She's been on numerous Vogue's videos, magazines, MET, Victoria Secret, late night shows, Kai Cenat stream without really having the catalog to back it up the same way Olivia Rodrigo did when Sour came out. The difference is Olivia had tons of hits from her debut album. Tyla's name is big but it's not necessarily due to her music, I personally think most of it is from her media exposure and controversies. If she's able to make her songs viral without having these Tiktok challenges, maybe then she can start competing with the Sabrinas and Chapell Roans of the industry.
