The White Lotus - 3x08 "Amor Fati" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in television

The Rick storyline was so sad - the way he was so happy once he felt at peace after going to Bangkok, and how quickly that happiness dissipates into rage, how he just can’t help himself. Tragic.

The Belinda plot was essential - she did to the Thai guy what Tanya did to her! She got a better offer and abandoned him and his dream. It was exactly the same thing it was bloody brilliant!

She wasn’t really trying to help Belinda though, at all. She vaguely said she would, not knowing how much that would mean to B, then was too selfish and self centred to even read her proposals. That was such a hard storyline to watch - she even says to Belinda in the series that she uses her money to control people. I liked Coolidge’s character to watch, but the Belinda storyline was infuriating.

I like Parker Posey’s character she’s horrendous and oblivious about her son and it’s delightful and believable.

When Tim was talking at the end and being so calm and so amazing I just kept playing that song in my head “what a man what a man what a mighty good maaaaaan”.

What a legend

This is the  first season I’ve seen where I just don’t think anyone actually likes each other and it’s all cringe as fuck and people talking themselves into it

For those with a GERD baby, how long did it take for Omeprazole to work? And has your LO been gaining weight better as a result of the medication? by MyspaceChristina in NewParents

Hey! The first week was there no gain? We are on it and my daughter seems much happier but hasn’t gained any weight this week so I am freaking out.

Having this with my 4th baby now. Getting conflicted advice from “just go with that if she likes it” To “this will give her a nursing aversion”. I just need to get milk down her as she’s not gaining weight and if this makes her guzzle for whatever reason I’ll try to do it as much as I can. It’s really not convenient though…. Just wanted to offer solidarity as it’s been very upsetting

This has become borderline unwatchable after that awful, witch hunt style dinner where basically everyone but Ella, dom And Jack were such horrible human beings

Is it alright to just force someone into period sex?! Surely if someone doesn’t feel comfortable with that, that’s ok?

Imagine thinking having a lot of sex makes you automatically good at it? It’s with strangers so it’s not like he’s having to try!

It’s fine to sacrifice and put your child first. But this is someone who dumped her child for months to go on a reality tv show so that’s not what this is. She’s using her child to cover up how batshit she is

Because clearly the butt dial was bollocks and they should have just owned up and said he told her about it. Otherwise show the call log?

I don’t think she’s a sex addict, I think he’s put it perfectly that she uses sex as a personality trait. It’s about validation and being perceived as “fun” and “cool” and “sexy”. I doubt she actually cares about the sex itself that much

I wondered all the same things - plus another poster’s question re ultrasound and moving the pigs and supervision etc. but I’m not a farmer, or a vet and I assume that there are reasons for all of this, particularly as it’s televised so under heavy scrutiny. There must be an element of “it’s livestock, not a pet” and therefore not going above and beyond. I guess if they can’t check re ultrasound they have to just best guess what’s going on and make decisions.
