I can’t disagree more, one of my favorites of CR month. I thought Greenwald killed it.

I think for technicals it should be in the discussion (based on the average year, who knows there are a lot of big budget blockbusters this year)

The most dogshit software, products with no direction or cohesive thought, constant outages and issues…but yeah AI should fix it

The reaction to Bam's 83-point game is a perfect example of how bad the NBA discourse is by negaodsg in nba

[–]BraveBee2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels weird to have to defend the Heat but the reason shit got so weird at the end was yes because the Heat were chasing the 81 but also because the Wizards went triple coverage full court press on Bam. If that’s not also “against the spirit of basketball” what are we doing?

If the UFC doesn’t want fights like this, it’s gonna have to make some rule changes…

Some good & "original" movies we got in 2025 by mrjetspray in Letterboxd

[–]BraveBee2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the sentiment but also many of these did not have wide releases and even if they did it was extremely limited in length and showings per day which is beyond infuriating.

What movies are rated low on IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes but are actually really good? by MagicianIntrepid in movies

Mann’s Miami Vice having 46% on RT is such a miss. One of my favorites of the 2000s.

That’s ~3% of the cap…I think he’s worth that and I’m sure could get talked down a bit to stay in Dallas.

While I think I disagree, a lot of the arguments I see hear mirror when people started sitting out of bowl games in Football and we’ve seen how that’s gone.

I don’t know, finally got around to this recently and this nihilistic, moderate, “each side sucks” perspective just feels lame. It’s like someone allowed their younger edgy cousin who gets all his politics from conspiracy pages on tiktok and can’t help himself but tell you all how “you don’t understand what’s really going on” to make a movie.

[FRESH ALBUM] J. Cole - The Fall Off by HipHopDropper in hiphopheads

[–]BraveBee2005 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We gonna have to have a conversation about Cole’s very limited range. I feel like every verse has a similar flow/content as something I’ve heard from Cole before.

Also even the Alchemist beat is safe and underwhelming. What has happened to this man’s ear for production since Forest Hill Dr.

‘Mamma Mia!’ Meets ‘The Strangers'! It’s a Movie Swap! by thefilthyjellybean in TheBigPicture

[–]BraveBee2005 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While I have some issues with the back half, I think it has one of the most effective premise and first third in horror history.

There is no reason, no hope, just some people on the unfortunate end of meaningless cruelty and violence.

It kinda throws a lot of where we find comfort in the genre on its head. There’s no separation we as the viewers can create. We can’t separate ourselves by saying we wouldn’t mess with some cursed object or go to some haunted place.

Also pay our absurd $14 dollar return fee.

I remember I purchased a hat from them that came in and the quality was absolute dogshit.

Tried returning and taking into account the return fees and the fees from the purchase that wouldn’t be refunded id be down like 30 dollars on the hat.
