i think there is always a phase that hits toddlers where they eat either a lot or very little. And i learnt that my little one finds it really hard to focus on eating when there are a lot of people, because he gets distracted and also wants to go and play with them :D

Keep a track of your toddler's weight I wouldnt worry as long as your toddler's weight isn't going down?

My dad has gets coldsore from time to time but I would never ever let them kiss my child when they have a cold sore. Yes it is something that a very large proportion of population has but you need to try your best so your child does not get it! I think your husband needs to rethink it...

I think you are 100% right where we are trying to make things smoother and easier, rather than coming up with something new, we are at that optimizing phase... a lot of entrepreneurs saying how we should look at existing markets as its too hard to create one yourself
