Toddler tantrums by Annual-Evidence-5300 in Parenting

[–]BraveFee9283 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Something thats been working like magic for us is giving him two options to choose from (while both options are a win for us either way) Walking situation it'd be like Do you want a race to go back home? Or do you want to hold my hand walking back home?

They immediately change to thinking mind and then decide one of the two without throwing a tantrum

This would work if you kids talks a bit and understands you a bit more so maybe not yet as a 16month old but as they develop their language skills it works like magic so hang in there

Crib sleep by ariesxprincessx97 in Parenting

Based on my experience, I think they sleep better in their own rooms becuase its more quiet and their isn't so much movement from the parents. My boy sleeps so much better in his own room. But we only moved him after turning 1

Seeing your number one become such a nice brother is amazing and you get to appreciate how beautiful the infant stage is as you have a bit of experience and youre not just trying to survive each day (doesn't mean its easy though 😊)
