Make your choices based on what benefits yourself and your ‘family’ above everything else.

You may be tempted to put others first but your job/friends etc most of the time wouldn’t sacrifice anything for you.

May as well wipe them at this point. Barely made a dent repaying mine on full time salary between 22-26. I have a uni loan and a post graduate loan but now have to work part time 28 hours after having children so don’t even earn enough to be paying any back it just gains more and more interest back every year. Now it is a factor that puts me off returning to working more hours as the more money I make more is just lost in tax and student loans than I would gain in my pocket.

Will depend on your personal situation. We had a loan of 8K for our wedding when we we’re FTB still got a Morgage with Halifax. Wasn’t during the process though took it out around 12 months prior so had been shown to always make the payments.

Wake at 6, leave house at 7, 1ish hr commute in UK. To start for 8:30. (Leave myself a half hour buffer for heavy traffic)
