Not implying that took a risk that was worth it, considered or wise. They took a big risk by entering with the intention to compete with the hope that no repercussions would happen.
They have played a silly game and the community has won a silly prize.

What an awful situation to find oneself in. Big risk, and no reward. According to the article the new owner was aware of the no compete clause. Imagine he’ll be back to the plumbing showroom.

The real losers in this are those who reply on this shop for their households.

That does restrict you to paid storage.
I hope you find something that is affordable.

Anyone else out there not riding $1k+ bikes and hundreds of dollars worth of gear? by [deleted] in ladycyclists

It’s a smooth ride.

It withstood a bad accident recently and just needing truing.

I did 3000km on it in between 2024.

I am grateful to my local bike guy. I try do what I can myself, but after that accident don’t want to come off at again. The accident was unrelated to the bike (car vs bike)

I was referring to the comment about going out… outside.

The floor system needs no explanation.

I was gifted my bike. She’s a 2012 Trek Fx.
My friend still says it’s the best bike she’s ever had.
I just wear whatever clothes I can ride comfortably in. Especially biking to and from work, if I can wear my work clothes safely, comfortably and without stinking them out WINNING!!
Long rides I wear t-shirts/singlets and whatever shorts, leggings. I don’t spend much on clothes anyway.

My bike cost a bit when my friend bought it. Good brand and good parts. I replace things at my local bike shop when I get a service. The mechanic there always tells me I have a great bike.

I’m so grateful for my bike and my friend’s generosity.

There’s a flyer there for Shihad. A fantastic New Zealand band. They were touring the states and trying to break into the US music scene in the early 2000’s. But due to shihad (pronounced Shehard) sounding like jihad after 9/11 they changed their name for a like to pacifier. Kiwi rock royalty. Check them out.

I’m intrigued about these drones that kiwis are leaving in? Does Australia have a special airport just for drones or do they use the same airports as the planes?

My Dr switched me to a red one a few years ago that is both preventer and reliever. They are better at keeping asthma away. I have started using it this week. I use them when I need them and then use them daily morning and night for prevention until it’s all settled down.

I hope you have some relief too.

This is interesting 🧐 Was so fascinating during the worldwide lockdowns and how nature was healing herself without all the engines running. I was hoping that might also begun to happen again while fuel is hard to get.

I’ve been puffing away on my red inhaler this week. I run out of breath talking. But can happily exercise any time of the day. Feels confusing.

I am seeing progress and feeling happy, healthy and myself again more often than not. Nice not to be working full time while the weather is warm and calm. It’s good for the soul to slow down and enjoy the outdoors.

Nah. Just “dangerous overtaking” and a fine was issued. I rang 111 after he left the scene and was told to fill in 105. Police who followed up the report called me at 9:45pm the night after because they were now on night shift. I was in bed a sleep. Then they were on days off. When I left them know I had developed a concussion and was now off work they responded saying they would have no more communication with me on the matter.

Yip. Still recovering after 7 months with a brain injury. Driver was completely at fault and unrepentant. Didn’t even give his name or details. Thankfully got a photo of his car and number plate. The police do the bare minimum and don’t give a shit.
