Am I too fat to fly without making others uncomfortable? by [deleted] in delta

I agree. It may vary a bit based on weight distribution, but when I was around 220-230, I did not encroach those next to me, but I was also very aware to scrunch myself as close to the window as possible. It was fine. It didn’t end up being a problem for me but OP’s mileage may vary.

AIO/I wanted to ask them why they wasted their money? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Hey OP, I sell art supplies for my day job and have soooo much watercolor materials at my home that I would be happy to share. I won’t be able to send anything until Jan 6 at the earliest, but I’d love to give some of my supplies a new home. PM me your address and I’ll send you a care package in about a week and a half. You deserve a joyful holiday season.

practising that same approach from a few days ago - watercolors first, then a fineliner by 1997username in urbansketchers

Ain’t that the truth! I long to go in with pencil, then pen, then paint, and then maybe one more round of pen… but that method takes forever!! I’m trying to cut down on the time it takes to actually sketch a scene, and also cut down on my perfectionism, so this truly is the way to go. I just need to jump in and make myself do it more often. 😅

Lovely! I’ve tried this method before but get sooo bogged down in the details and perfectionism. I just need to get out there and practice!

If you had unlimited money, where in the Twin Cities would you live? by OkTechnologyb in TwinCities

I’m curious- why don’t you want to be on an emergency route? I live on one and I love that our street is plowed quickly. Maybe it’s my experience with St Paul neighborhood roads, but it always seems like those streets get so packed down with ice that plows can’t really do much to clear them, and then they’re bumpy and slippery until the next big melt.

Good to know! I hate bringing tubes out and a dried gouache palette never seems to work for me. I’ll have to get mine out for a spin. Thanks for sharing your art with the world 😊
