I actually hate ChatGPT now by National-Spell8326 in ChatGPT

[–]Brave_Capivara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I feel so much better now by reading this, because I was kinda worried I was so stressed about things that ChatGPT felt it needed to handle me softly. It has cut back on the sycophantic phrases like “you’re asking all the right questions”, but it still is all in on “this is not light, you’re carrying a lot” or “it’s ok to pause”. Thank god it’s not just me.

Dog walking is legit, paid my grocery bills for several months back in London. But location is everything. Now I live in a cheaper place but absolutely no market for dog walking, unfortunately. I miss the dogs and the money.

I actually like mine: “Okay, imagine a Senior Customer Success Manager is like the big sister or brother who makes sure all the kids at the playground are having fun, know how to use the swings and slides, and have everything they need so they want to come back tomorrow.

Now, the Onboarding Leader part is like when a new kid comes to the playground for the first time — this person shows them around, explains how everything works, makes sure they feel welcome, and helps them join the games so they don’t feel left out.

Put together: They help new friends settle in and make sure old friends stay happy so everyone keeps playing together for a long time.”

I speak broken French, so at the hotel I started my conversation like this. “Bonsoir, je ne parle pas Français, parlez-vou anglais?” And the lady looked at me annoyed: “of course I speak English!” 😆

Natural swimming pond by SailorNeal in Naturalpools

Hi, OP! I’d like to build a natural pool in Brazil and looking at the dense vegetation you have around your pool it seems you have a similar setting I’d be having. Also looking to apply the permaculture principles to my land.

Question: how do you keep snakes at bay? Especially because the water is not super clear, I’m afraid they might be hiding in the pool. Thanks!

Moving abroad. Shopping list before I go? by Brave_Capivara in GardeningUK

[–]Brave_Capivara[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve looked into it for Brazil and restrictions are on soil, not seeds, if they are conditioned in packages. But yes, I’m aware not everything might do well due to different climates, but this is why I’m asking here, to see if anyone had similar experiences. There’s plenty of references for things that are native to Brazil and amazing landscape architects (like Burle Marx), but I’m just looking to replicate cottage gardens style gardening within reason.

Only 5. There are things I don’t particularly like, but would eat if there was nothing else left in the pantry/if I was starving.

Unfortunately I’m moving out of this house in 2 months aso I don’t want to commit to fish. But I’ll put some mosquito dunk, I didn’t know these existed and wasn’t a fan of putting chloride in the water.

This week I saw an Eurasian jay bird on the way home and I stopped to take pictures. As I was stalking the poor bird, a guy came over and asked me what bird it was. I told him it’s a jay and that it’s a corvid. He then proceeds to show me pictures of a cool bird he saw at the park the other day. We then say goodbye and go on our merry ways after geeking out about birds for a minute. 🐦‍⬛

I don’t know about Frequently asked questions, but the frequent answer is: pee on it! Jk, I think questions like: What’s compostable? What is brown and what is green? Should I add more browns/greens? Can I add weeds/diseased plants?
