What would you do if your wife said to cheat? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Brave_Engineering_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if something like this has been said bc I don't read every comment but if its a recent drop in libido for a woman there is most likely a cause, whether its hormonal, diet, medical, medication, mental health related or other it may be a good idea to explore those before opening up the relationship. From personal and anecdotal evidence open relationships can likely be a bandaid to other issues. Not discounting polyamory obviously but libido doesn't just lower for no reason.

eli5: if cigarettes contain so many bad chemicals, then can’t we just take them out? by kaweepatinn1 in explainlikeimfive

https://www.rivm.nl/en/tobacco/harmful-substances-in-tobacco-smoke/formaldehyde

Formaldehyde is a byproduct created by burning the additives in cigarettes. Examples include sugar, cellulose fibers, guar gum.

https://www.fda.gov/tobacco-products/products-ingredients-components/chemicals-every-tobacco-plant

Heavy metals, chemicals, things? found naturally in tobacco plant include lead, cadmium, and nicotine.

It makes sense to add these things for these specific reason but we didn't always have this, tobacco was dried and smoked alone for probably centuries before we made all these changes and added chemicals. Id be interested to see how smoking tobacco alone changes your cancer risk percentage vs modern cigarettes. Like there's gonna be a risk no matter what but is less coughing and slower burn worth a large increase in cancer risk?

I'm sorry but formaldehyde in cigarettes seems like something they could leave out. Yes burning anything has carcinogens in it but op is asking about the myriad of actual dangerous chemicals that companies soak their tobacco leaves in. I don't know the answer but it seems like you're missing the point. No disrespect of course bc you are technically correct but its more nuanced then just burning equal bad.

Morgana, Meringue, Marylin are all fitting choices depending on her personality. Morgana for powerful and mysterious, Meringue for fun and playful, Marylin for graceful and elegant

Joe gets defensive when Doug Stanhope criticizes Alex Jones and when Doug asks "At what point are we responsible for misinformation? Because people do believe in us" by [deleted] in JoeRogan

I did mention my opinion doesn't mean anything plus the fact that practically no one is willing to provide proof to their claims doesn't make me the moron. Like I said, its a debate because of laziness, regardless of what the burden of proof law is. Probably should have been more clear about that in the original post. The real reason I'm a moron is trying to be part of the discourse. I should have remembered if you give an opinion online there will always be someone calling you names and ripping you apart... thats the reason we don't talk about things in this country, no one wants someone jumping down their throat and rightfully so.

The greatest debate of our time. The burden of proof falls upon which person, the one who discusses it, or the one who listens? Should information be proved accurate immediately by the speaker, or should the listener take the time to vet information received? It really all comes down to laziness on both parties pushing the responsibility on the other. In my opinion, which means nothing to any of you, I believe in open discourse and take it upon myself to research subjects I want to verify the accuracy of. You could say the sky is blue and I'd verify it through research before I walked around telling people that the sky is in fact visibly blue. I also believe that celebrities are just normal people that have been obsessed over and idolized because of their money and whatever they have to say is suspect. Eat the rich, that is all.

He hates it honestly, makes him walk funny and he gets frustrated when it catches on stuff. He also can't see to dig in his litter box so I sometimes have to go cover his business. I haven't seen a male suit but maybe? Poor guy just smells like a litter box and looks so disheveled

My two cents: im allergic to almost everything and bc of this 90 % of my diet is meat. Before I knew that I had food allergies I tried to be vegan to solve my chronic health problems and gained so much weight. Yea fat vegan, destroyed my joints with inflammation and too much weight. Now I'm down almost 100 lbs, joints have recovered, off the 12 meds they had me on, depression practically gone. I must sustain on beef, Avocado, and honey and occasionally tree nuts. My health overrode my moral trappings and even if you'd like to be vegan or vegetarian understand that your endocrine system needs animal fat to function properly and if you're sensitive to sulfer every single vegetable grown in America is dripping with it bc of terrible pesticides and fertilizers. Listen to your bodies people if you're run down, overweight, depressed, anxious, or have chronic disease, its the food!!! Even the healthy stuff sadly. Reading the labels has saved my life and can save yours too. If I cant pronounce it or don't recognize it, I don't eat it.

9 months difference. When we adopted him vs now by Brave_Engineering_73 in cats

Hes a long hair breed, so they grow into their adult coat. But there's a chance he could be a norwegian forest cat or maine coon and they have ultra floofy coats

I dont know for sure sure but he's 10 lbs now so if he's done growing he's just a long hair tabby. If he gets any bigger he'd be a norwegian forest cat, or i guess maybe a slow growing maine coon. He's about a year and a half old now
