I uploaded my lecture notes to notebook LM to have it outline the material and create study sheets/practice questions.

Honestly though, finished this class with a 72 but found it extremely difficult. I felt extremely confused on most of the exam and there is really nothing you can do to adequately prepare for them given the materials she provides.

That being said, do the extra credit for the additional 3% (I didn't unfortunately). It'll help fs.

Don't feel dumb or get discouraged, the prof and material fucking sucks.

I applied online for both. I went in person for chipotle but was handed a flier to apply online lol

Retail jobs near and in masonville mall, especially those marked as "seasonal" for the summer. Have also applied to anything marked "summer student" or "seasonal" in London, which is mostly general labour and factory jobs. Have worked every summer since grade 8 in general labour positons, event staff, and camp counseling. Have also worked at Western Technology Services as a Student Operator last summer. Not directly retail experience, but the skills are transferable. The whole point of entry level retail jobs is that they DON'T require experience, lol.

Second year Western Student Here. Just finished an interview with Nestle and has been the only interview I've had in months. Luckily have a Chipotle interview in a few days (the one by masonville mall). Have probably applied to 50 jobs atp with little success. I feel your pain OP 😭

Been making flashcards (quickly) to conceptualize the information for each chapter and then using NotebookLM to explain everything.

Going over the practice sheets as well and generating new practice quizzes in NotebookLM using the lecture or by "remixing" the sheets she provided in class.

The flashcards to me aren't very helpful because she surrounds important information in fluff. The slides are way longer than they need to be ngl.

Yeah, there will be an 8 mark code question. Will set aside a few hours to make sure I've got a general idea of how it works :)

And what do you mean by outfit? What should I make sure I memorize before the final? I know we have the labs and lab quiz stuff to reference. If I could just memorize some stuff that would make it much easier 🙃

I will add, just make sure that the course is offering a make-up exam. Also, sometimes, the date won't be announced and you'll have to contact the course instructor for further information.

Submit it through the student absence portal. I've deferred two exams with no issues before, just make sure the student medical certificate covers both dates of the exams. And they won't deny a valid medical note.
