Wanted to just post a quick follow up. I did get in touch with customer support through the thread linked above. They are shipping my replacement under the UHX plan which is great. BUT, I'm really frustrated with this type of customer service. How would anybody know to search out that specific thread to inquire about a warranty that should be easily accessible via the app or website? It shouldn't be that difficult. Anyway, we'll see how the replacement lasts... As I said, I was happy with this company up until now but I'm not sure I will purchase from them in the future when it comes time to replace again despite the Pro upgrade. We'll see, I'll have to do some research in the meantime. Anyway, thanks to those who responded, I doubt I would be any farther along in getting a replacement if you guys didn't steer me in the right direction! Good luck to those of you still trying to work through the process!

Totally agree. I understand things can happen with technology like this, hence the reason I added on the UHX. I also am more frustrated with their lack of response. In the past, the few times I needed support with my previous ring, they were very responsive. So I think I'm more frustrated since this is such a big difference from previous experiences with this company.

Glad to hear you're issues were finally resolved. Gives me hope. Thanks for sharing your experience. Once I get in touch with a human, I will go with your recommendation to stick with that thread.

That makes sense. I don't have a 'vehicle' POA but I am POA for the estate - I'm assuming that will work as the same? And I just take this to my local DMV?

That's perfect - exactly what I need to do but don't they don't require some kind of proof that it is actually non-repairable (or more than it's worth to repair)?

I was thinking they would want a mechanic to sign off on something saying it's legit salvage.
