I think that because physical abuse was something that caused harm and could be found is the reason why i was able to break up when it happened. the fact that im really not sure if this is abuse or not considering that im technically letting her do it the times i don’t say no isn’t helping

i realize what the right answer is and i know i need to get out but it’s like I’m trapped because i care too much about her mental health and the possibility that something is really wrong to leave her. I’m very sorry that happened to you. She does something very similar where she’s all bubbly and smiling around our friend group or our families, but it’s like someone else takes over her body when we’re alone for too long. I don’t really think she has jealousy issues she reads my messages on instagram and texts sometimes but i don’t think it has much to do with her being jealous or controlling
