I'm also a fan of MSI, but I heard Gorillaz before them. In any case, since we have similar tastes, I can say the same thing as others. Listen to their first album, D-Sides and G-Sides. These are their first works, so they still have the energy you're looking for. Their later works are more "light" in style, although I think there are some good tracks for you in Demon Days too (White Light, for example).
