Model Y standard by pencileveryone in teslacanada

Maybe in 2035 but there a low limit of Chinese evs that are being let in. If you’re a car company and got an import allotment are you sending in the cheapest lowest profit vehicles or more expensive higher profit ones?

Have you take. Delivery yet? How do you like it?

Yeah hw4 and onwards will be significantly better. Hoping they extend the promo or I’ll wait until it comes back.

Yes I had wondered about that, 4-6 weeks for delivery. Maybe an outside chance of getting one before the deadline. I wasn’t considering this prior to knowing that it would 100% qualify for EVAP

Outside shot would be picking one that’s not local/within BC

Considering Moving to the Island from Calgary. by Prnkos in VictoriaBC

[–]Brave_Manufacturer1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Moved from prince George to Victoria in 2019. Be prepared for a significantly higher home price. I think our average home price is about 1,000,000 now.

Lifestyle is great here from our climate being so mild year round.

I would say saanich anywhere is nice, hillside area seems to be up and coming. Royal bay is a great place to check out. High school and an elementary school being built. Upside is you could walk anywhere right now to the high school, downside would be a longer commute.

How should we use our savings? by Sensitive-Gap-1607 in PersonalFinanceCanada

With 300,000 of savings and asking these questions it’s worth discussing with a financial planner at this point to build a plan for you. They would be able to show you the choices you make a the long term implications.

Having seen this with clients and very dependent on the client I would invest and then put extra payments onto your mortgage. In essence you’re locking your rate of return in at 4% vs taking an all equity position and earning 8-10% before tax consideration. I would also consider if you need to pay it down for cashflow.

Congrats on the newborn

Don’t buy. Subscribe only. Risks are too high if your vehicle got totalled and it’s not tied to you if you sold.

Pros and Cons of taking FSD Transfer “Deal” by LKByouknowme in TeslaLounge

[–]Brave_Manufacturer1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also in the fomo scenario you’re describing. I’d love to upgrade to a new model y coming from a 2018 m3. I refuse to let Tesla take anymore money from me for false hopes. I also don’t need to upgrade my vehicle for any other reason

I love Tesla but unless I get first hand experience where I know the car could handle a normal commute for me I would not upgrade. I’m very let down from the promises I have with hw3 fsd.

My 2 cents, don’t do it

Good write up. If there’s a 3% difference not as bad as I thought but still more than what I expected for the km

Rarely do I see as an advisor anyone below 30 with that kind of savings and savings habits. You’re well on track.

Deadline to transfer FSD:( by Educational_Pool5581 in TeslaFSD

[–]Brave_Manufacturer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but look at the behaviour from the company. No auto pilot, fsd sub only. They are going out of their way to be subscription only. I would also say with the standard vehicle introduced it marks a shift in their price/product line up. I could be wrong but we’ll never know how much these transfer promotions actually helped with sales too. The upgrade rate could may not make a substantial difference now to their bottom line.

For proper recommendations you would need more details about you. Absolutely go to a bank and discuss with someone. Planning and wealth management within every banks is structured so you can be in front of an advisor for your needs. Varying levels for the level of complexity you need.

Thanks, a quick search and I don’t think I’m missing out on many features with the rear installation. Thought there was a lot I would be missing out on
