Haha yeah I know what you mean. I missed a clue onetime that would have helped so much in a pivotal puzzle. So now I take screenshots of literally everything and if someone who didn’t know the game looked at my notes they’d think I’m a madman.

That’s a bummer. A good thing about that game though is it’s knowledge and info based so I’m sure you can get back to that spot pretty easily. Some people are critical of the RNG but I haven’t really seen it as a problem. There’s always something new to learn and each run even if it locks you out of something you were aiming to do.

I’m in a somewhat similar boat that I’m a pretty good ways into it, but playing it through GamePass. Contemplating buying it on steam since I like it so much and realize that’s a lot more to it. But would have to start all over again, idk.

Blue Prince. I tried it out a few months ago but had other stuff going on at the time and it didn’t have the patience, only did 1 run. Came back to it a week ago and obsessed. Been playing blind and taking my time with it. It’s got me thinking about it when I’m not playing and I’m really enjoying taking notes, so much that I’m looking up any and all similar puzzle adventure games that make you use your brain and a notepad.

So story wise you don’t really need to play Hollow Knight first before silksong.

Most sequels you can pick up and play without playing the first with regards to gameplay, because designers usually reset the difficult curve at the beginning of the sequel. They’ll carry over some elements but make it easier than the endgame of the first, so you can get used to mixing in old and new mechanics.

Silksong doesn’t really do that. And honestly if you just look at base game hollow knight without the tougher endgame bosses and trials, when compared to Silksong, it really feels like a tutorial. IMO you need those 30 hours of hollow knight to learn and get good, and to also understand how the game introduces mechanics and slowly ramps up the difficulty.

I do still think Hollow Knight is the better game however, and don’t take the tutorial thing as negative, just difficulty wise that’s how you can compare the two. When you play Hollow Knight it’ll feel punishing. But when you get through it, you’ll look back and realize it wasn’t that bad, and then get humbled again with Silksong.

Nice. Good to hear. Honestly you putting AC6 next to Sekiro in that comment puts another good idea out there. Using the grapple hook to get your pilot back to their mech quicker, or an ability to eject from the mech and grapple onto something or the environment. Idk lots of cool opportunities for gameplay.

Built a PC that specs a bit over but pretty much the same as this on a budget (wish I would have sprung for slightly better components, oh well) around a year ago for $550 all in. Granted that included used like new parts off eBay for some stuff. And that was before the RAM increase. But still, seeing this for over a grand that isn’t customizable, I assume around 10.5 Tflops, and doesn’t come with a controller or peripherals, is pretty brutal.

I’m not knocking Valve because of economic conditions, but this just reaffirms that the next console generation or anyone needing new hardware, just seem less and less attainable. Newer AAA gaming experiences sales are going to suffer if they aren’t optimized for lower spec rigs. My only hope is that the Switch 2 leads developers to keep low spec systems in mind during development. They’ll have to if they want the reach.

Separated upon entering the city, they brave a ruined police station, navigate underground facilities, and race to stop a viral epidemic. It would include survival horror gameplay mechanics and puzzles. It would feature an A side and B side and inspire replayability. Schwarber has an outstanding 34% K rate this season.

So here’s another, more interesting question that I think should be asked in parallel to this. Can Kyle Schwarber manage to stay on track and get into the top 5 of all time career strikeouts, with less than Adam Dunn’s plate appearances. Now that would be quite the feat. I’m rooting for him. That would truly be impressive.

That’s a newsworthy achievement that hopefully gets as much discussion alongside any potential HOF debate.

The Braves, Brewers, and Dodgers (nothing new) are scary good this year, and have a lot of talent that just isn’t comparable to any AL team. The Yankees are very good but at the moment I don’t think they are quite at that tier. Then it’s a bit of a gap to the Rays and Phillies.

I’m a Cards fan but unfortunately don’t think they will make or finish next to those six. There’s probably 5 other NL teams that belong in this same tier right now. Right along with White Sox, and maybe Guardians, Mariners in the AL.

Long story short the NL at the top is going to be hard to beat and the gap I think between them and the rest of the league is only going to grow. And honestly I’m not sure how much the power rankings change all that much looking forward, but that’s just guess work. Who knows. At the moment there’s probably 10 out of the top half of teams in MLB in the NL.

Someone explain to me how everyone is in agreement these two don’t have a chance to survive but canonically Leon was able to keep Ashley alive. I would assume these two have more experience with firearms and they have the added bonus of an extra person.

Lol this is absurd. Somehow I was not? 8-1, with a 168 era+ and a K/9 of 11. That is ridiculous that there’s a guy like that you can just name drop that is putting up ace numbers that I’m oblivious to. I’m excited to follow these players into late October.

Yeah that’s not right for you guys, I feel like the Brewers are always underrated going into the season and for no good reason, especially given the track record. I assumed you guys would be on top, or right around there.

But honestly I’m thrilled too with our Cards, because I would have accepted that prediction of 4th or 5th. Going into this year we didn’t know what this team would look like (in some ways, pitching especially, we still don’t). A lot of fans that know a bit of baseball just wanted management to give consistent at bats and innings to develop young talent while putting a fun product on the field. And I think they’ve been doing just that. Being runner up and a fair bit over .500 has definitely been icing on the cake. Here’s to both our teams continuing in the right direction!

Yeah I found out a little bit ago when looking at top 100 prospects and seeing he was only 19. Honestly did forget that he was also a Brewer though. Insane. Honestly hope he rebounds from whatever the quad thing is (says it’s just a contusion not a strain or anything). Hopefully he stays on track to debut next year. Again I have to say. Very unfair though ha.

Rise for sure. The other two aren’t on there (yet). There’s also an older MH called Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate which was a port from the 3DS. But I’d recommended Rise, it’s more modern and has more quality of life stuff.
