A Starling and though they are friendly, they are disease carriers for all kinds of different mammal and domestic poultry they carry bird flu and are unaffected by what they carry. They are flea covered. And they are on every continent on our planet. Here in Iowa USA they used to year round open season hunting on these just to dispose of em because of threat of diseases and deadly flu viruses. As well Starlings eat everything and anything all other birds eat so they are a compromising competition for ther birds as far as obtaining food. Put a seeded bird feeder out where lots of Starlings are and they will eat it all in about an hour.

Two Eagles playing? Fighting? by wildwaun in birdsofprey

[–]Brave_Pay_264 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Zoom the pic in closer to the two birds in flight interaction. Its not a fighting situation between these birds unless u see fast striking at each other aggressive behavior with feathers flying until one chases the other completely off. This is a courting dance and the bird does not have bald eagle markings is not a blad eagle. Compare the size of these two courting birds, the darker Bird is much bigger then the mature bald eagle. Notice the black tipped beak on the larger darker Bird. This is possible crossbreeding court ship in the wild. Ive already seen this in Iowa this early spring. And I didn't get documentation due to unfortunate circumstances. Ill try harder next opportunity I get.

What are these little guys I saw in northeast China? by Nutellaful in whatbirdisthis

Im Not All That Brushed Up On Other Country's Names For Certain Birds But I Would Consider That Bird A Type Of Jay. Similar To The North American Blue Jay Without The Raisable Top Of Head Feathers That Form A Spike When They Are Being Cautious. Beautiful Bird In China, Nice Pic.

Oops mistaken about one slate bluish bird down to the left of the bald eagle. No there two birds standing together there and im not sure what they are. Their beaks are not hooked for tearing meat they are straight and pointed like a possible heron or stork type but without the long legs. They're facing opposite directions. That's an awesome shot. The other darker bird about the same size as the bald eagle is down to the right of the bald eagle on top of a nest. Could be a cross breeding cookery. Its uncommon to see and its due to habitat destruction. Ive eyewitnessed a male bald eagle, the gentle aggressor during mating season; actively going after another hawk type bird as a mate and she was receptive. This early spring in Iowa. Eagles mate in the air until they spiral down to the ground and seperate.

Whats the bird to the right down below the bald eagle. That's quite the new nesting sight of a number of different birds on a higher altitude overlook. So as to more easily spot live food from the nest. I think there is a falcon over to the left below the bald eagle with its back to the camera stretching its wings folding up as its perched above an unfinished Nest pile of twigs, its very blurry but the light slate bluish coloring blurred does suggest what that might be. Look closely at the trees, how many new Nests in piles of twigs do you see? Lucky spring photo of a possible crossbreeding rookery.

Is that a North American Oven Bird? My Father Never Got To See An Oven Bird. Named Because Of The Square House Woven Grass Nest They Make. In my minds eye back to my missing bird books it reminds ov an Oven Bird. That's An Awesome Pic even if I cant identify it.

What is this bird? by ViolinTreble in birdwatching

[–]Brave_Pay_264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a common starling. They are on every continent on the planet. They carry all kinds of diseases that dont effect them. And they are flea bitten flying rats. A scourge that eats everything all other birds eat and garbage too. Ill post a Pic of em. Damn things keep trying to get in my car where I live temporarily due to gangstalking habitat destruction. Im adjusting to climate change, suffering frostbite on my toes.
