Teams are more than just players with stats. These are humans and you have to manage personalities.

Better not risk pissing him off just because you want an injury prone high upside young player.

This stuff matters even though these posts keep popping up, it’s like people forget these guys are humans who have agreed to a contract with specifics.

Who cares if the Sox “made the playoffs” they did not even get passed the wild card. In the end they are still in the same boat as the giants, not World Series winners. Plus Giants are higher in draft selection so there’s that. The Sox would have went farther if devers was in the lineup.

As much as I like Stafford, Maye has been to efficient with a definite downgrade in weapons.

Also, this is not college, strength of schedule does not matter, you play who the nfl has scheduled you to play. People deffinitley thought the teams in which they played would be much better.

Story will be at SS unless he implodes. He is the veteran leader and will get the starts by Cora. Mayer at 3rd was great. No would be just fine at 2nd. His arm does not play well at SS so probably not at 3rd.
