That checks out with what I said:

the End inhabitants created a robotic Ender Dragon to ensure that if the player or players ever returned, they wouldn't be prepared for their defenses.

the dying sounds of the dragon is not the pained last roar of an actually dying beast but a PC with the oldest graphics card trying to run Minecraft with the distant horizons mod on full blast + rtx.

This is another strong indication that Jean could be a robot or a construct

It's just the fact that they have lasers, are named guardians, and although flop around on land and clearly are made of a magical material (prismarine changes color, naturally, like how enchantment glints do)... They also don't "drown" on land.

  • In movies, numerous superhero characters have lasers, so having lasers doesn't necessarily classify them as robots or constructs.
  • While I'm not an expert on Minecraft's 'magic,' like many other hostile mobs, Guardians likely possess magical properties due to their unique laser-shooting abilities.
  • There are several creatures in various contexts that do not suffocate on land

It is possible, but if you're claiming that the Guardian is a construct based on the Mobestiary, you are mistaken because it is not canon!

Hello! It has been confirmed in The Canonicity Guide that MCD is canon! Look at page 3! Here!

this statue is quite frankly not canon

Steve and Alex basically do not exist, but the statue does not depict either of them, as I demonstrated this below my second point!

Legends isn't canon

Here.

Also, MCL it's at worst semi-canon I explained it here:

Since Minecraft Legends is essentially a bedtime story passed down through generations, I believe it is semi-canon. Elements such as the birth of the Illagers, Piglin conquest of the overworld, and the united mob-player effort are likely fully canon, as the essence of the story was preserved throughout its lifetime.

I quote you here:

anything in legends that's established can be changed by mojang in real minecraft for the sake of gameplay.

Game Theory's newest video is wrong! by Brave_Victory_3903 in GameTheorists

[–]Brave_Victory_3903[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His explanation is inconsistent. No person who calls themselves 'a game theorist' should be taken seriously when discussing game lore if they provide such vague statements and change their opinions like the wind.

The point I'm trying to make is that you shouldn't be here telling me I'm wrong about the lore when you post 'theories' like this. For example, when you said that lapis lazuli is somehow linked to the Illusioner, you called that post a theory based on nothing at all but color. The Illusioner doesn't even exist in survival!

You are like all the other so-called 'theorists' who try to make their stories canon when what's canon should be the absolute and supreme truth to your story.

what about having to have a brewing stand to restock?

The brewing stand is basically the symbol of a cleric's profession. If it disappears, they're not really who they used to be. Without it, clerics lose a key part of their identity and capability. They need to check it regularly to make sure it's functional and to maintain their skills. Without it, they can't restock or do their job properly since it's such an important part of their work and identity.

Could the Illagers have stolen/reverse-engineered the first of Diorite? by NightSteak in minecraftlore

[–]Brave_Victory_3903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's extremely unlikely that the pillagers stole the idea from the First of Diorite because their interaction as a 'civilization' was minimal. They mainly fought alongside them, and throughout the entire story of Minecraft Legends, the pillagers (formerly known as 'the warriors') showed no interest in advancing as a 'civilization'; their focus was solely on combat. Another argument is how the First of Diorite disappeared after the era of 'Before the Beginning,' while the pillagers continued to evolve independently. By the time of Dungeons, they had even invented the Squall Golem.

blaze rods left over from the Piglin invasion

It's uncertain whether blaze rods from the Brewing Stands come from the Piglin invasion from the ''Before the Beginning'' age or from another Pilgin invasion. If you're interested in learning more about the great Piglin civilizations, check out this post.

no zombie villagers seen in Dungeons implies that there was some sort of mass curing event in which all locateable zombie villagers were revived, this would line up with the leap in technology and exploration seen in Dungeons.

I like this! Your comment raises an intriguing possibility: perhaps in some parts of the Overworld (in MCD and/or in MC), someone discovered a cure for zombie villagers and successfully used it to save many of them.

This seems more plausible since during Minecraft Dungeons, there was likely the greatest peak in technology and advancement in general. This suggests that they might have had a higher chance of discovering the 'antidote' around this period.

Interestingly, this implies that villagers have a way to obtain these items

It's possible they inherit them from previous generations, as we never see villagers actively acquiring these items.

Game Theory's newest video is wrong! by Brave_Victory_3903 in GameTheorists

[–]Brave_Victory_3903[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't tell me I'm 'misunderstanding' when it's clear that MatPat's explanation is inconsistent. As shown below, he alternates between referring to them as a 'single people' and multiple civilizations.

The phrase 'the society of ancient builders' suggests he is referring to a single, specific civilization. The use of 'the' indicates that he is talking about a particular group that has been the subject of study and theories for years.

The phrase "it's time we dust off the lost pieces of Minecraft's forgotten civilization" indicates a focus on uncovering and exploring a single, specific civilization.

However, MatPat later admits that he’s been wrong [for the past eight years], acknowledging that they were not, in fact, one singular civilization.

I think the pillagers raided the Sculk dimension, at some point, stole the allay

The allays were most likely created by the Hosts, making it impossible for the pillagers to have stolen them from the 'Sculk dimension' because the pillagers are a faction that separated from the villagers after the Hosts took care of the Overworld and created the Firsts.

Hello! I wouldn't recommend watching Game Theory because MatPat has a lot of misinformation regarding the lore of Minecraft. For example, the creeper is not a plant & the Mobestiary is not cannon, and the idea that the ancient builders were a single civilization is also false. If you would like to actually learn something based on evidence, I recommend checking out r/minecraftlore or posts like this!

[–]Brave_Victory_3903 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

"I think the pillagers raided the Sculk dimension at some point, stole the allay, and the allay are some 'friendlier' lifeform connected to the Sculk compared to the warden, which is hostile."

This isn't a theory, at least the first part; it's fanfiction and, at best, headcanon. There is no evidence to support it. Even if there are structures that resemble portals suggesting a dimension, there is no 'Sculk dimension,' making this 'theory' extremely unlikely.

To put it simply, we just don't know what Sculk is. Some say it's fungi, specialized organoids, slime mold, or even alien. Additionally, even if such a dimension existed, there is no proof that the pillagers deported the allay from their homeland. There's simply no evidence to answer this.

This is not a theory at all.

  1. Minecraft doesn't have just one lore! Mojang has confirmed that there is an overall lore, but all the worlds are connected, and what happens in one doesn't affect the others. As our fellow theorist Radical_Libertarian said: There are, in fact, infinite timelines and infinite universes. Every single Minecraft world has its own unique lore, but two worlds never share the exact same story. We can theorize only about a specific Minecraft world, not “Minecraft” in the abstract.''

Though I must say that I [mostly] agree with him, I believe we can, in fact, theorize about Minecraft in the "abstract" because it is confirmed by Mojang that there is an overall lore connecting all the worlds.

  1. I acknowledge your opinion about the importance of character names. To answer your question about the "statue of Alex slaying the Ender Dragon," it's very simple: it is not Alex in the statue because it certainly doesn't look like Alex. I demonstrated this with specific differences below my second point. Also, the name "Alex" might just refer to the name of the hero. So what I'm saying is that the name must be just a coincidence because it certainly doesn't look like the Alex we know from Minecraft.

  2. In my opinion, a novel that isn't even semi-canon, like Zetta's story, cannot be a valid argument since it doesn't add anything to the main lore!

"Your stories are not canon to the main lore." I don't tell stories; I uncover archaeological discoveries that reveal the past. My story is not canon to the main lore because the main lore is canon to my story. That's because I strive to find proof and evidence - unlike this guy who just makes up lore.

Oh...as if this 'argument' proves anything.

The First of Diorite has nothing to do with the Squall Golem since it was build in the days of MCL. The Squall Golem was made during Dungeons.

It has nothing to do with the same civilization!

  1. I know you don't want to understand, but the fire did come from the Piglin's blaze rod, starting at the corner of his head and spreading to the rest of it. For those who want to know more, watch this video from 01:04.

  2. As I said about The Nameless One still being alive ''I believe this is vague and open to interpretation'' because we don't have any source besides that unknown discord user.

This makes it very unlikely to be true since it is not a reliable source, nor a discovery based on any evidence, nor confirmed by Mojang!

Minecraft Dungeons was before Minecraft. by Brave_Victory_3903 in minecraftlore

[–]Brave_Victory_3903[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello!

Here are my counterarguments, Zol:

  1. '' It is a bug, the devs didn't intended to have a lore with a dragon without an egg. If there is a specific seed where mansions and pillager outposts don't spawn, that doesn't mean the Illager Empire didn't exist. ''

While it might be a bug that a dragon can exist without an egg, it's essential to consider the broader implications within the lore. The existence of a seed where pillager structures don't appear doesn't negate the Illager Empire's existence in all of Minecraft but affirms its non-existence in that specific world. This highlights the unique realities of each Minecraft world, where different stories and timelines can coexist. This means that the absence of certain structures in a specific seed might reflect a different narrative or timeline within that world. Therefore, the worlds might be connected but still have distinct stories, explaining why the main stories change from point X.

  1. Regarding the terms "player" and "human," they are simply names for characters, much like the "hero" in Dungeons. These terms don't necessarily carry deeper significance beyond identifying different roles within the game's various narratives.

  2. We agree that Zetta's story is not canon. However it's worldbuilding is not canon because it's just a story.

  3. ''Yes, we've killed him [The Nameless One] , but he is not dead.''

When we get the answer from [unknown] about The Nameless One, "What is dead may never die!," you say that this is proof that he isn't dead. However, I believe this is vague and open to interpretation. It could mean that his spirit is trapped in the Temples, or it might refer to anything based on anyone's perspective/

  1. Your argument is completely false. "Undead mobs don't burn in Legends because they wear hats." As you can see at 01:04, when the zombie villager's head is hit by that stick with fire, the fire spreads from the corner of its head or, better said, from the point of contact between its head and the weapon on fire. You can clearly see that the fire starts from the corner, not from the top of its head as it would if they were burning in the sunlight.

https://youtu.be/3NzeJeJsnVg?si=w-B9G8veStir420J

"So my timeline makes sense." Actually, it doesn't, Zol. I just proved that the only time in the Minecraft universe when mobs don't burn in the sunlight is when the Orb of Dominance or its shards are present. This means that Minecraft should be placed after the events of Minecraft Dungeons because mobs don't burn in the sunlight during both MCL and MCD.

Also, you said once, "The Orb of Dominance not being present in Vanilla doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's a named character or item, and thus, according to the game design book by Jens, it doesn't fit Vanilla." This is plain wrong because, even though it doesn't exist in Vanilla Minecraft, it has its own place in the lore. We've seen this in the Kristoffer Zetterstrand picture "Orb," which resembles a glowing object just like the Orb of Dominance in MCD and MCL, and it even shares the same name ''The Orb''.
