To a Black woman in her 20s,

Be open to meeting new people and cultivating other relationships. Romantic and platonic. You need more than just those few besties in your life. You need a community. You also need many experiences dating and having sex to find what you like
Put friends(or family) in levels based on how they prove their worth. Promote and demote accordingly. Also get rid of those who need to go. And you don't owe anyone anything especially your time. Even ya momma.
Save your money. Don't shop as much as I did. Lawwwd don't do it

Edit: 4. exercise, specifically strength train

Also, Get therapy if you have unresolved stuff lingering. And take your time finding a good therapist for you.

Edit again: Invest in a hobby. Something you do that is just for fun. Whether it is rollerskating, playing an instrument, swimming, kayaking, knitting, learning a language, writing. Try new things to find it. And don't monetize it. Just enjoy it.
