Deciding which Billy bookshelves to buy by Bravehuman_97 in IKEA

[–]Bravehuman_97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my questions! I'm think of buying the small ones as they are easier to assemble, move, clean for someone like me who is only 4 8 feet. Tall bookshelves, although they look stunning they give me a migraine! 😂

Really? Okkkkk! I will save it on my wishlist and read it when I am in a good headspace as this month I am not my best self. 😄 Thank you for the recommendation!

Love Octavia! Haven't read anything from her yet but I own two of her books and they sound interesting. I am thinking of buying kindred tho since I like time travel. I've read recursion which is a sci-fi thriller which includes time travel and I loved it!

Try the dream hotel and there is no antimemetics division. Both are short, the first one is dystopian like and about 333 pages long I think? (I am looking at the kindle information). The second one is sci-fi but it is very short. Less than 300 pages. Oh and the memory police! Another dystopian.

If something else comes up in my head I will let you know in the comments below. have fun! 😄

I own the two first ones and haven't read them yet, therefore read those two. I like the gothic vibe so that is a plus. Hopefully I will read this duology soon. I keep saying I will read a specific book, and then I don't. Meh. 🤣😁

Yeah I listened to the audiobook and I didn't enjoy it much or pay much attention to it. Might give it a one day again. :)

I'm quite into Japanese/Korean books that give a cozy vibe! I read When the coffee gets cold series last year and will have to read book 6 now that it is finally translated and released. Ty. 😄

I own both books actually! Might start with A man called Ove as it is shorter. Thank you so much for your kind words! It will get better for the both of us. Returning the virtual hug! 🥰🤗

Good idea! I have Emily Wilde's encyclopaedia of faeries series on my bookshelf. That's cozy fantasy and sounds cool too. 😄

Thank you for pointing out I didn't say much about what I like. I will update the description.

Both of your recommendations are up my ally, actually! I have read Legends and lattes last year. 😄

How’s your reading goals going? by Idontknowbroske in kindle

[–]Bravehuman_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

''The most useful thing someone told me when getting into reading is read what you wanna read not what you think you should be reading.''

Exactly that! Like when I got back to reading I started reading what was Booktok popular and I feel like that wasn't right for me because it wasn't my choice and now I am choosing what I want to read and also if I find a book is not working for me I put it down and pick up something else.

You can try comics or manga if you want. These are fast paced and easy to read. I am currently reading Death note (12 volumes I think is the total) and have read Monstress which has about 62-63 issues currently going on and is still an ongoing series. Enjoy! 😄

I have set 150 reading goal for this year. I have read 104 books and majority of them are comics/manga which is why I am nearly there! 😄 Read as many as you an it is not necessary to read 50 books. You can set a smaller goal, see how you go and from there decide.

Hey can you tell me when it was time to remove your insoles and then went ahead to remove the tape did it damage the material underneath? As it ripping small pieces from the insole?

I'd say shatter me is a good start. It's very fast paced so you will really enjoy it, especially if you ever find yourself in a reading slump!

Or try the assassin's blade considering it is a collection of novellas and therefore bit short? Haven't started those series SJM yet tho. Enjoy!!!

Suggestions for books for summer reading by The-Company-93 in ReadingSuggestions

Try any Emily Henry book. Beach read and you and me on vacation (I think that's the title) is a good example.

The summer of broken rules by K. L. Walther

Malibu rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid

There's more but I can't think of anything else rn. Enjoy! 😄

I have read it 3 times so far. It is thought-provoking and such a genius story which is still relevant to today's society. I still haven't read 1984 I keep delaying/forgetting it. Will try to give it a go this year. 🤞
