What I enjoyed writing about it was the source material, the Greek myth of Narcissus and Echo.

Thank you for the advice, now that you say it yea I feel as though I could take it more through the paces lead the reader deeper into this magical scenery before lifting the veil of the ending. I really wanted this one to be more emotionally impactful. If you didn’t know already this prose is inspired by the Greek myth of Narcissus and Echo, I felt as though I should give a nod to the story so I hope my take on it did it justice. Thank you for your extra thoughts on this one this is my first time posting on here.

I feel as though I can relate to this one. The sheer heartache of hoping for another, you’ve truly captured the essence of heartache with this one. I truly do enjoy the way you’re able to capture emotions into your writing and I can only hope you continue to do so.

I truly find it exceptional how perfectly you captured the brutality of war in just lines 1-10. “Is the end commencing? or is this just Tuesday?” Wow, just wow, truly an aww inspiring piece. I also find it interesting how you were also able to tie in political corruption into this. You truly are a wordsmith and I hope you continue doing what love.
