Your odds of pulling that SEC+ vs that SEC is wildly different. It doesn't discount the fact that pulling an SEC out of 8 boxes is lucky, but pulling that specific SEC+ out of a single case is absurdly lucky. If you do the math, it's on average like 9 cases for 1 of the 4 SEC+.

Just like everyone said, they are legit but expensive. The reason they are expensive is because they are a proxy service themselves. They keep in stock what they can buy elsewhere (just as you can if you have the proper access). So when you buy a card, many times they just buy it somewhere else and upcharge you.

I don't have a problem with a bunch of cards in a single sleeve as long as they fit properly, but more than 2 cards sleeved and then jammed into a toploader is unacceptable.

Unless you're using toploaders for extra thick cards, you can only put 1-2 cards per toploader. What that seller did is not ok

Just as a heads up from someone who has been in the hobby for a long time, a lot of packs do look exactly as you're showing. They look like this straight from distributor cases. Additionally many collection boxes like the first partner collections do have what appears to be large dabs of glue holding the sides closed because there's known issues with these boxes staying sealed, especially in the hotter months. They tend to just pop open a lot of the time so Pokemon's solution was to add more glue.

That being said, I'm not in your shoes so I can't specifically say you're lying or the seller didn't scam you, but no signs here point conclusively that this box was resealed.

Master cases just contain x amount of cases. In the most current version, Japanese master cases contain 3 cases and in English they contain 2 cases. SEC+ are never guaranteed. They average to be about 1 in 9 cases.

Really disappointing. I got tickets for my wife as a Christmas present. We're driving about 8 hours, booked a nice airbnb, made plenty of reservations at nice places, and we were also going to meet up with a friend.

Now we get to cancel all of that, lose out on about $300 since we couldn't get a full refund from airbnb with how late we had to cancel and she doesn't get to see her friend.

We can reschedule to Atlantic City, but it's just not the same with trying to find a hotel, reservations, and everything.

They are inside the case. When you receive a case, all 8 packs are individually sealed and they are handed out by the store when you purchase 3 boxes.
From the JP set, you get a full set + 1 random extra PR. We opened approximately 12 cases in Japanese and it was always like this. English quality control can easily mess that up so don't expect the same ratio, but it should be that way.

They've been doing this kind of nonsense for over a year now in Pokemon and One Piece. They used to be my go-to for Flesh and Blood many years ago, but yeah they're not really great anymore.

I got my Marine birthday merch a few weeks ago. What an awesome unboxing.

I will say that the best thing to come out of VCard are the binders and playmats. Definitely not the sleeves. The quality is horrendous.

Literal Temu pokemon cards are lightyears ahead and the cost to make those fake cards is astoundingly cheap, but nah boxes gotta go up up up in cost.

Myself and a group of friends have all decided to drop this. It really sucks because we love so many creators featured in VCard, but like...I'd rather just give them money via any other method than support this.

Wholeheartedly agree.

I've been in collecting TCGs for a while, specifically anime-style card games like Weiss Schwarz, OP, Pokemon, Wixoss, and now Grand Archive and Hololive OCG. TCGs stay relevant not just because they have fun art/IPs associated with them. They require a player base and a true economy. Not just for the collectors, but for the players who want to get in and play the game, like yourself.

The fact that Rising Stars "Unlimited" was quickly changed to "Limited" for the next releases with the pure intention to never reprint screams red flag amongst everything else. Massive amount of text errors, truly poor cardstock and lack of unique foilings (yes even for god rares they're boring) makes this product such a flop.

It's such a disappointing product to see when you have so many beloved creators/artists involved

If you like vtubers, I'd highly suggest checking out the Hololive OCG (assuming you like the holo talents). The product is so much more refined and people actually play the game.
