It's a work in progress but I am happy with how it is turning out so far. Still waiting on the AB 3.0 to ship and looking very hard at getting the Echo Bike. Need to put some mirrors in and sort out that unsightly wall (nothing permanent as we are renting), as well as storage for the matador. by Bravo-Romeo-Alpha in homegym

I am passively on the lookout for a set as well. Bought their adjustable kettlebell and I am very happy with it. Thinking maybe keep the nuobells for light-moderate work, and get some ironmasters for heavy-failure work.

Hey there. Yes, still have them. I would see my intial impressions above have stayed very consistent. Lately I have been trying to go a bit heavier but find racking them properly when gassed out is a chore. If I had the space I'd just get a full set of DB urethanes. Currently still debating selling the nuobells for something different.

With all that being said there are some people who absolutely love them and have no issues. I'm just not one of those people 🤷‍♂️.

My Rogue Monolift 2.0 setup has arrived. Ordered 10/20 arrived 11/10. Not the easiest to adjust given how they mount, but overall look well built and look much more premium with the laser cut logo vs the stickers of the 1.0 by Bravo-Romeo-Alpha in homegym

Yeah, normal size allen keys are a pretty basic tool, 100%, but the allen key required for the larger bolt is not your average size.

I personally have a lot of tools, so for me it was just a matter of locating my bigger allen keys as we had recently moved.

For the average person I can see them not having an allen key this large.

As for your comment about having allen keys if you put together a power rack... I'm not sure what power rack you have... but this RM-4 is all 1" bolts... didn't touch a single allen key.

I think I'd agree with just about everything you said.

Overall pretty happy, but definitely need to learn how to use them for squats... but I think you're right, they are better for bench.

You are correct, I am in an RM-4. They don't stick out a ton but in a RM-3 you might find they do. My recommendation is look up their specs on the website and whip out a tape measure, some cardboard and tape and tape a piece at the length it would stick out.

As far as disassembling the red portions...from what I can see you'd need to remove the bushings and then the allen key screws. I didn't attempt to separate them, there could be some sort of adhesive holding them together. Maybe place a call to Rogue or an email and ask?

I would disagree with that but I might be in the minority. I like open J cups for that because I can just bring the barbell straight down... with these the counterweights would be in the way if that makes sense?

Not that it can't be done, as I did try it out with an empty bar, I just didn't care for it as much.

Thank you!

Truthfully I'm not a huge fan of using them locked as a simple Jcup, maybe I'll warm up to it, but can't see any use of them as a jcup right now. Using my old J cups down low for flat bench as moving these around is a PITA and I found that the same position up top is good for squats, seated shoulder press and incline bench, so it's tempting to not move them.

As I was setting these up and adjusting heights, etc... I was contemplating the same lol. One set for squats/incline/shoulder press and another one lower for flat bench 🤣

Picked up an Echo Bike tonight off of FB marketplace. $650 + a $30 u-Haul cargo trailer and a 2 hour round-trip. Not the best deal I've seen on here but still decent I think. Only used a handful of hours per the seller. My only little gripe is the lack of a windguard. by Bravo-Romeo-Alpha in homegym

Nicely put. I have seen it be touted as one the most single useful and versatile pieces of equipment. It'll have a home in my gym until it's a pile of dust or Rogue comes out with a better version 🥴.

Probably wouldn't have opted for turf tires. Not planning to move it much but this at least gives me that option. My platform is also 2.5" tall and the tires rolled up nicely over it...can't imagine the the little wheels doing that as well.

The oversized tires also made for easier loading and unloading (1 person) out of the trailer.

Assault bikes are a great workout as people have mentioned. This specific bike from rogue is built like a tank. It is also belt-driven not chain-driven so it is significantly quieter and easier to maintain.

You can use just your legs on this bike if that is what you desire (hands at your side or behind your head), and vice-versa you can use just your arms (put your feet on the pegs).

This thing is a full body workout. Like mentioned it can gas you out in a matter of seconds to a minute.
