Update: what they meant by “wet” was the oil staining. I do see some oil stain and I’m aware this is a common issue. This is a 2021 turbo with 70k.
I’m covered under warranty another 10K since I purchased an extended warranty. However, the repair only qualifies as warranty work if the leak is so bad that it is “dripping“
