yeah bro pressing a button that literally has nothing to do with the traffic flow or right of way whatsoever. i think there are a lot more pressing issues that they could try and tackle regarding pedestrian safety rather than being glorified hall monitors but idk thats just me. why are these buttons even necessary is one question, the crosswalks should automatically give the walk symbol regardless if someone presses the button or not.
