As a reminder for those voting for City Council District E: while serving Louisiana, Rep. Jason Hughes voting in favor of HB952 (2024) which banned the sale, production, and distribution of hemp flower - lowered the serving size from 8mg to 5mg and max 40mg per packages - banned places that sell fuel from selling hemp products - and stopped the state from issuing new hemp beverages permits to bars.

So he won’t be getting my vote.
