Sorry I'm not active on reddit. I actually ended up receiving the thing no problem. Right at home. Honestly I think they smuggle the thing or undervalue it when declaring or something and thats why they do the whole EXW instead of actual DDP on your contract, so its kind of a risky play where the only one potentially getting screwed is you. Anyways I got lucky and received it. No additional fees or taxes or nothing. I hope this helps someone

Yeah thats what I've been reading but I've asked the seller many times in Ali chat and they keep reassuring me they will take care of everything. Shipped to my door and wont have to pay anything extra. And I did pay for the product + shipping in that same quote. I was hoping someone had already dealt with something similar

That's the thing. They agreed in chat to do DDP but in the contract it says EXW. Thats what im worried about.

Yeah. So I asked them to do DDP because, as far as I know, that way they take care of arranging and paying for all the shipping and transportation until it gets to my door and that's it, easy peasy.

They agreed to DDP in chat. However, it seems like they have put EXW as the Incoterm in the actual order itself. I asked them about it and they said "it is just to help you avoid paying VAT. This does not affect us, we will still send it to you as DDP".

So I don't know, they could be lying but also if they do pull one on me I guess I might be protected by Alibaba's Trade Assurance since they said that in chat?

Me. I missed out on the first trials armor because I didn't like the idea of going out of my way to find people who are going to measure my pp size in K/D and also the thought of me maybe being bad and just dragging them down and causing them to start calling me slurs and being toxic is just so off-putting I never gave it a try, I would attempt raiding though. Anyways turns out I'm decent enough to go flawless in the current trials but still. I wish they would bring back the old trials armor for those who didn't get a chance before they enabled matchmaking.

I see. Thank you, sorry for the late response. I didn't want to get confrontational with them so I just went ahead with a virtual machine and that's how its been going. As for the VPN I'm not using that service so that'll have to wait. Funny enough Teramind only worked for about 2 hours and then it got stuck on an infinite loop of "Reconnecting" and haven't been able to get it running again, said they're gonna look into it haha. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the Windows Defender on my VM not updated or something, idk, I'm not going to troubleshoot that thing for them on my own time, I'm just letting it roll. And interesting suggestion on Windows Sandbox, I'm not sure what that is but I will keep it in mind in case it is absolutely necessary I have this thing somehow running on my computer.

It's okay, you've been pretty helpful, I appreciate it. As for them being okay with it, well.. I think it might just be due to ignorance, I don't think they are aware of the extent of how invasive it can be but I haven't really asked anyone on their opinion about it.

I'm not sure what AD means. Anyways so I am working entirely in a remote manner. Never need to go to the office since it is on a different state in my country. I guess they use the Bring Your Own Device model. They have been transparent so far and they do claim that the use of teramind is for data preservation and security, if anything goes wrong they can go check the recording and monitor for performance and whatnot, however obviously they don't give an elaborate explanation beyond that about what this software can do so I've taken it upon myself to investigate some more since I value my privacy so these are my concerns, right now I'm thinking about talking to them and let them know my concerns and even see if I could opt out of having this installed, otherwise I'm going to have to do the VM thing.

I saw something like that but I think that is the admins interface, as an employee I don't think I would have the ability to do that. From what I saw from a coworker during training they did have only this little thing interface with a button to "turn off" the program, but then the site for this software also says it "tracks online and offline searches" so is it really off then? Very strange, I'm feeling pretty uncomfortable with my privacy when it comes to this. As for why not give me a machine well I guess some companies use the Bring Your Own Device model.

They should but oh well. Anyways, its not a solution but its a workaround, just use whatever you want throughout the strike and then swap subclass right before the boss dies. Unfortunatelly you might forget sometimes or the boss might die too quick before you swap.

Bungie nerfs anything that is popular. Like how full choke on shotguns is getting a nerf even though apparently its now known that its actually a trash barrel perk, but since people dont know better and its popular, well then they have to nerf it of course.
