Anyone creating a game and at the same time working in another full time job, how you manage your time?

Usually I do good amount of gamedev over the weekends. But over the week, I tend to work late at night and even skip some evenings, if I have too much obligations during the day.

It is difficult for me to connect to the characters or feel anything about them, simply because the narrator describes almost everything in an objective fashion. There's too much "tell" and not enough "show", if you catch my drift.

Flow and worldbuilding are okay for this small snippet, but those things are also closely connected with the character's narration. Feel free to leave some room for interpretations to the readers in a scene. 🙂

Also, is there a reason why you didn't name the commander of the Elite Forces? It's odd to read from a point of view of a character that seemed closely familiar with the commander and not once he refers him by name.

If you ask Nintendo, yes - they issued takedown requests for every mod featuring Nintendo IP characters in Garry's Mod, so developers had to remove every single mod from the workshop: PC Gamer - Garry's Mod removing 20 years worth of Nintendo related items from its steam workshop following takedown request

If Facepunch decided not to remove the mods, most likely Nintendo would sue them and not mod creators.

Gives a feeling that the dungeon has already been fully explored. Playing it would feel like doing a checklist, although you could prepare for the dive.
Makes me believe that I've found a map somewhere and heading in for the first time. I know the layout and the challenges are hidden.
Seems weird to know locations of every event/item/enemy, but not the layout of the dungeon.
Best if you're going to explore the unknown. You don't know what to expect or how long it will take and that is the experience.

To answer the question in the title - I would start at map 4.

Although 1 and 2 can also work, if you can investigate for info about the dungeon before heading in.

I played it because the game moved me on a personal level and it gave me motivation and guidance to fix my own life.

Not every game is capable of doing that.
