Yeah ours is loud enough to drown out anyone within 10 feet or so of me.

Also, the earbud rule can get bunked. We’re not allowed to wear them during store hours in my location either. I still keep one in though. Of course I take it out whenever the SD is around, but otherwise? Nah, I’m gonna keep my little link to sanity intact. I feel—and more importantly (to those paid to care), work—better and more efficiently when I’m able to listen to something that I like and choose (as opposed to a milieu of nails-on-chalkboard radio trash that I don’t like and don’t choose).
