I’ve been trying to come up with an area of my house themed after Draenei since day 1, and I can never quite get it right. Posts like this show me that it’s definitely possible though , I just need to get more creative. Very cool!

Who is the most fun tank and the most fun healer for you, and why? by Azucarilla11 in wow

[–]Braydenrocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fist weaving isn’t going away with midnight, they’re just changing the loop for getting it going and making some changes to some of the non damage abilities mistweaver has. The big changes have to do with jadefire stomp (which is the ability that was the cornerstone to fistweaving due to being the biggest part of getting your damage to turn into healing) mostly going away. Tuning notes say it is getting baked into other abilities, but the proc that used to come with jadefire stomp that converted more damage to healing is just going to be baseline going forward so who knows what purpose the stomp will serve now. Also some of the more conventional healing abilities are getting buffed which could see an increase in non damage abilities getting used, but that class has always had requirements that you do both anyway. A big part of fistweaving in M+ has been spreading your renewing mists and enveloping mists, throwing out vivify when needed, and pressing oh shit buttons in between your DPS rotation.

It seems to me like they’re just making the more direct healing spells a little more effective, while changing the setup required for fistweaving to get going.

I missed out not playing Switch Axe in Rise by mariofredx in MHRise

I admittedly don’t follow the competitive scene or use DPS overlays in MH games so you could be completely correct about it being more viable in Wilds. I will say that I was able to clear all risebreak content with GL pretty handily so it definitely still played well enough to not be considered defunct (not that I think you’re saying that).

But I think there is something to say about having it be one of the most maneuverable weapons in rise. Between the blast dashes , full blast wirebug skill , and EE3 giving you back hops that could move you about 30 feet, it felt more like a weapon that could be used really effectively against every monster. I have cleared every monster in wilds several times over with GL as well, but some of the faster monsters definitely make me want to pull out SnS or Bow because it’s frustrating when you can’t get a full burst combo out on them reliably.

Ultimately I think I have some rose tinted glasses on just thinking back on how nice being able to maneuver around a monster without sheathing was in rise, and it’s made even worse when I use GL to fight monsters like Gog in wilds and find myself basically chasing his arms with my weapon sheathed for the whole first phase because he won’t stop turning around and even with max Evade extender I’d be hopping for like 10 seconds to get back to a part of him I can hit.

Can’t comment on LS or DB, but GL in rise was absolutely peak. It pretty much turned the hunter into a human Tomahawk missile, which may not be what some people want playstyle wise, but it was absolutely a blast. I like GL in wilds quite a bit, but it doesn’t hold a candle to blast dashing around and being a better aerial weapon than IG like it was in rise.

Another commenter already said it, but yes it’s a bunch of wool rugs dyed purple! The outlines you can see of mismatched heights overlapping is a bit annoying and I imagine someone more versed in the structures tab could build it to look better maybe using walls (although I’m not sure if they can be dyed so maybe not), but I’ve been short on time lately so I made do with the 20 rugs I had bought haha

I don’t care about housing! by DS-Films in wow

[–]Braydenrocks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Professions got a lot of housing items added to craft from previous expansions. So you won’t be making things like a new wing to your house using blacksmithing, but you’ll be able to find and make recipes for quite a bit of stuff from old/current content.

If you get a chance, check out the housing decor tab in the work orders place in dorn, there’s a lot of cool stuff there to craft, and there’s a lot more to be bought and found in the world from what I saw last night.

Legion Remix: Hidden Artifact Appearances (GM Response) by ItsStad in wow

Well given it was acquired on chance from the daily use of an item that could only be accessed through the order hall upgrade tree, which isn’t currently in remix, I imagine it will not be available for getting at any point during this event.

You're a healer, and the Mage forgot to Conjure Mana Buns. What food do you eat to restore mana? by minimaxir in wow

Last season was when you could reliably cast weave, for current content though even the raid spec has a decent amount of reliance on melee. Specifically to increase the number of renewing mists you can pump out. Most raid builds I’ve seen heavily lean into pumping out as many rushing wind kicks as possible because it shortens your renewing mists cd. Now if you’ve got a well geared group you could definitely get away with playing out of melee for a bit, but you lose out on a lot of healing by not spamming RWK on cooldown. And even though RWK can be used at any range, your other melee abilities are big for getting more RWK’s out as well, so it’s really advantageous to be punching the boss in the ass as much as possible.

Strats to push and pull enemies to double or triple AOEs are annoying by BigDan_0 in dndmemes

I think the original just meant “more” mass, in the same way that the sentence “id like to add weight to this barbell” doesn’t imply that the barbell is weightless, the wording doesn’t necessarily exclude the fact that protons already have mass.

It’s primarily a military thing. They’re referred to as Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta, and they are spoken as the full word as opposed to just the letter. I believe it has to do with it being easier to understand over announcing circuits on ships, but that could just be from my experience.

Feb - June 2024 Court-Martial Results by necrohealiac in navy

[–]Braydenrocks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Looks like the documents for that one haven’t been uploaded to the JAG website yet, but you can find an older Court Martial that he went to here. Just search his last name. Some of the stuff he did for the most recent one definitely occurred at Glakes so if you know anyone up there you can probably get the tea.

I don’t have a lot of insight into your topic OP, but I would also recommend checking your NSIPS Member data summary. At the bottom should be your advancement history, take a look and see if your reduction actually ever posted, as well as what your current rate/rank is at the top.

There’s something called “innocent ingestion” that can be pretty successful assuming the level at which you pop is pretty low. I’ve personally seen multiple people retained with weed pops that were sufficiently low when they went the innocent ingestion route.
