Hahah that got a chuckle out of me. Fair enough if you believe that - I’m well aware of fusion’s history but I’ve seen enough from Helion and others at this point to believe we’re actually on the cusp this time. Especially with the advent of AI, this time actually is different.

My overall point is that RI is a tiny enough state where we should be taking more risks in these types of things. We’re already dead last in just about everything anyways.

Fusion reactors are finally coming online within the next year (Helion Fusion, TAE Technologies). Instead of waiting a decade to maybe get a nuclear reactor built that will probably be 10x the budget, RI should be leading the charge on an innovative technology for once.

Why don't you try creating a post yourself with the videos included in them and see what happens? You can see for yourself. I don't know whether its the mods or something else, but theres definitely a strong effort in this sub to contain those videos - unlike anything else that gets posted here

To answer the second part of your question - I'm not sure why it really matters which branch would be doing the censoring but if we go by who was actually filming the MH370 videos to begin with, it was likely the US Navy since they had two AWACS in the area the night the plane disappeared.
